This time I stayed with my dog for my wife's birthday present. At check-in, the reception at the front desk was very polite and comfortable, and my dog gave me a goat milk present. The room was clean and large enough, and it was good to be able to take a bath slowly in the large bath. Stayed for a night en route from Miyako to Morioka. Not very convenient unless you have a car, and there are practically no restaurants or convenience stores nearby. There is a small shop at the lobby of the hotel that opens till night and sells snacks and instant noodles and drinks. We had breakfast at the hotel, which was free with our stay, and a normal western-japanese buffet. Not that huge of a variety, but was quite tasty with the necessary yogurt, bread, and japanese items like porridge, fish, egg. Room was big, and apparently all rooms have an ocean view. We woke up at 530am just to catch the sunrise, and it was definitely worth it. Service wise was very good, expected of Japanese standards, and particularly Tohoku level!

Stayed for a night en route from Miyako to Morioka. Not very convenient unless you have a car, and there are practically no restaurants or convenience stores nearby. There is a small shop at the lobby of the hotel that opens till night and sells snacks and instant noodles and drinks. We had breakfast at the hotel, which was free with our stay, and a normal western-japanese buffet. Not that huge of a variety, but was quite tasty with the necessary yogurt, bread, and japanese items like porridge, fish, egg. Room was big, and apparently all rooms have an ocean view. We woke up at 530am just to catch the sunrise, and it was definitely worth it. Service wise was very good, expected of Japanese standards, and particularly Tohoku level!
