Worst and most expensive hotel I stayed in Japan.
Photos doesn't match the reality. Everything is so old and has never been renovated since the 60s, stains on the sofa and carpet, terribly old and small changing rooms for the pool area, dirty windows full of spiders, ...
You're not allowed to have tattoos and enjoy the pool or the onsen and nobody will tell you in advance, so be prepared to arrive there and not being allowed to use the amenities without previous notice. We were told to go to the public beach, then to pay 4000¥ for a cover to go to the pool. After more than 45 min waiting and discussing it, we were given rashies for free to enjoy the last 30min of the hottest and most dirty pool I have ever been at; it closes at 17.30 but at 17.00 we were told to go out of the pool for a reason we didn't know (as they talked in japanese only), and after going back to our room we saw everybody comming back to enjoy the pool again.... We had to return the rashies after using them, so if you want to go to the onsen (for example) after that, you have to go back to the reception, discuss again, and use your wet rashies again to go there and give them back again to the reception once you finished, so basically you're not allowed to use the amenities whenever you want as you always have to double check with the reception. I understand it's the japanese culture, but we were in another 7 hotels with public onsens and tattoos were allowed in all of them, plus the fact that nobody told us in advance that we couldn't use the amenities with tattoos, which is a clear violation of the customer rights.
I won't be back there even if it was for free, honestly. Worst Accor hotel I have ever been at.
