The Wild Orchid Resort - Moalboal

⸻ We were supposed to stay two nights but ended up extending our stay to three, proof that we really enjoyed this resort. The Filipino staff is exceptional: welcoming, smiling, and always available. The manager is fantastic, very professional, speaks several languages, and we have absolutely no complaints. Upon our departure, there was even a French-speaking receptionist, which made communication even easier. The food is excellent, of very high quality. It's a bit more expensive, but that's perfectly understandable given the resort's secluded location. The resort is out of the way, so access can be a little tricky, but that's the price you pay for absolute peace and quiet, a virtually deserted beach, and an immaculate pool. Scooters can easily be rented to reach the amenities. I don't understand some of the negative reviews: you can't expect tranquility without accepting a bit of isolation. 👉 Rating: 8/10 👉 I highly recommend it.

The hotel is located away from major infrastructure. Access is via a dirt road, making it a bit awkward for a tuk-tuk. The hotel itself is very pleasant, with beautiful views and cleanliness. There's a concrete walkway in the sea, which is very convenient during low tide.

Everything is fine, the area is nice. It's clean, the service is good, everyone is friendly. They help with everything! But the road is terrible, you need an off-road vehicle.
