Best Hotels in Moalboal

"Amongst the goat paddocks and tin houses was this very nice little resort. Pleasantly surprised with the amenities given the immediate surroundings. The more touristy Panagsama penisula is about 4 to 5 km away. Tuk tuk is required at around 200 pesos in one direction to Panagsama. Locals and staff are very friendly and helpful. Didn't provide daily house keeping which was only mildly disappointing. They are more than happy to exchange towels at your request. A basic shopping centre is about 600 metres away which can cater to almost all your needs. If yo need coffee like me be sure to attend RAM coffee shop, was a good quality coffee. Swimming pool was very pleasant and well maintained, like the rest of the facilities."

"The good thing on that place was the massage chair. Location was ok the room was ok but it’s not same with the picture in their site it was different I book a fan and upgraded with the a.c but it doesn’t work the a.c was not cold at all or because it’s outdated but they give me a refund for the upgrade. It’s little scary when you walk in the night because only 1 post light is working but it’s little bit dime but it was ok better than nothing. The sunset from the restaurant that we had lunch was perfect 5 minutes drive from the property."

"Breakfast was pretty average, just stick to the eggs. We booked two tours through the hotel, and they were more expensive than outside options. We thought booking with the hotel would guarantee better service, but it turned out to be terrible. The hotel seems to partner with really subpar dive shops. For the first tour, sardine run snorkeling, they refused to take us back to the hotel afterward, forcing us to walk back, which was a very bad experience. The second time, for the Canyoneering at Kawasan Falls, they completely messed up the timing. We were scheduled for 7 AM, but no one showed up. When we called to confirm, they admitted they'd forgotten. They finally arrived after 8 AM, cutting into our activity time. Our guide was quite old and had poor English, whereas others we saw had young, lively, and talkative guides. I definitely advise against booking any tours through this hotel."

"Excellent hotel with a great location! It's right by Sardine Beach, and you don't hear any roosters crowing or music from the bars. Yet, it's only a three-minute walk to Panagsama Road, where there are plenty of cafes and bars. The staff are excellent, it's clean, and the room has everything you need."

"Great place to be. Amazing beach that’s called the Mushroom rocks. You can observe it during the stay. Amazing view from the beach or from the rooftop bar where you can see the other island, sea in all of its beauty. Aaaand don’t miss a chance to observe the stars out of terrace. It’s amaaaaaazing. Restaurant’s right on reception. The food is tasty, especially we liked spring rolls and Wild Orchid omelet. You can chose any table you like (right in front of the beach, on a cafe territory, the rooftop bar or the number balcony. Pool on common territory is wonderful. Clean, different depth, instagramly. But the best thing, there are no people or maybe few. Nice staff on reception and kitchen. Clear, comfortable room. Nice place to come back!"

"Очень благодарны администрации отеля, что смогли нас заселить аж в 9 утра. Отель находится в нескольких минах ходьбы от дайвинг центров и 15 минут на тук-туке до пляжа. В номере есть полотенца, удобная кровать, кондиционер, туалетные принадлежности, фен. Горячая вода ( в моём московском понимании этого слова) была, но не всегда. В гостинице есть правило, что в номере нельзя пить. На территории отеля находится симпатичный и удобный бар с пивом/коктейлями. Очень приветливые ребята из персонала. Из минусов - рядом ведётся стройка, начинается она в 8 утра.."

"Excellent hotel! The rooms are cozy, and the staff are polite and helpful. The rooms are fresh and clean, and the grounds are well-maintained too. The location isn't the most convenient if you're on foot, but the hotel itself is in a beautiful spot. They also offer scooters at a very good price – cheaper than renting them 'on the street'. When we arrived, all the scooters were taken, but the girls at the reception suggested a company they work with, and everything was delivered right to the hotel for us. When a hotel scooter became available, we took that. They also helped us with tours. We initially booked the hotel for 2 nights, but we loved it so much that we extended our stay for another 3. By the way, the transfer from the hotel is also more cost-effective than arranging it yourself. The hotel owners, Nick and Raquel, are very kind and open-hearted; it was a real pleasure and very interesting to chat with them. Abigail and the other girls are also positive and always ready to help. At this hotel, you feel like you're visiting close relatives. Thank you! We would be very happy to stay with you again!)"

"The location is a little remote, but unfortunately next to a chicken farm. More or less all day, especially in the morning, there is a very noisy chicken alarm. Otherwise, it is a little older hotel, but is relatively good for the Filipino conditions price-performance. However, there are even cheap, better hotels for the same price and even cheap."

"I liked it incredible! Of course, I want to say in advance that it is not worth expecting the lacquer conditions from hotels in this area. All Moalboal is a village) But we were ready for it, so all the accommodation in general we liked it very much) The room at the time of booking remained only one - pink. The view on the sea is not as from the room on the other. It is also slightly less than two coming out on the veranda. But the impressions it didn't dim, it's just an incredible feeling when you can go out on the veranda and go down to the warm sea with millions of sardines! Also there were very good breakfasts on the menu, serve in the neighboring house and prepare specially for you. We, unfortunately, visited because of the tours only 2 of 4. The only problem I saw was that in the room only one normal roast, and that was behind the closet in a not very affordable place. The rest of the railroads were so bloated that to insert a European charging there so that it kept it necessary with a crushing chip."

"The guesthouse has a pleasant, green area with gazebos and garden furniture. There's hot water 24/7 thanks to an instant water heater in the bathroom. It's a 5-7 minute walk to the beach, where you can see sardines and turtles. On the way, you can rent a snorkel for 100 pesos, no deposit needed. The guesthouse offers breakfast, but we didn't take it. Just a five-minute walk from the guesthouse (turn left out of the gate) there's a huge food court and many cafes with great prices and variety. There's an ATM at the entrance to the food court, and about a hundred meters up the street (away from the sea) there's a 24-hour money exchange. The guesthouse hosts are welcoming and friendly. We booked a trip to Kawasan Falls and canyoneering in Badian through them (it was 300 pesos more expensive than what's offered on the beach, but we were happy with the organization of the trip). Unfortunately, there are downsides too. The air conditioning in the room is incredibly noisy – even earplugs don't help; it feels like sleeping in a helicopter. Luckily, it rained on the second night, so we didn't need the AC. There are many animals at the guesthouse, so watch your step! And there were small ants running around in the room."
