NH Zamora Palacio Del Duero

Great location, we enjoyed our stay very much. Friendly staff. Walking distance to all of the tourist attractions.

Nice hotel , but like many places in Castile e Leon, people sometimes know zero English which makes life difficult Very large room (sup), well stocked with amenities. good location. Recommend. As for restaurants in Zamora, don't bother. All of them are below average.

Very interesting hotel in an old abbey and power station. Premium room with a terrace is worth it for the additional space and view of the church. Room was spacious and clean with a huge bathroom. Beds very comfortable. Great to have a smart TV and the WiFi was. Service at the front desk and breakfast was excellent, especially for what is still a relatively small town. Breakfast itself very tasty too and the power station end of the hotel is a sight worth stopping for in itself. Air con in our room wasn't very powerful - didn't bother me but my girlfriend said she got very hot despite having it turned up and would have struggled with a hotter night. Food and service in the restaurant in the evening was a bit below par. Would be nice to have a gym and/or pool of course.

Conveniently located near the river and the old bridge, with a short walk uphill to downtown. Internal parking lot. Friendly staff and good facilities. Good choice of food for breakfast and lunch. window opens for natural ventilation if needed.

Hotel is located two minute walk from the Duero river where there is a path to walk/jog and view the city walls (from the outside) as well as the water mills. It is also located within a five to ten minute walk from main square (Plaza Mayor). Menu of the day at the hotel was of high quality on the day we had it. Perhaps a bit expensive by local standards but well worth it. Staff ranged between very helpful and a not so much. Like always and everywhere, it depended on the individul.
