The hotel is in the center of Molde, very close to the stadium. There is also a free parking lot near the hotel. The hotel facilities are excellent and very comfortable. You can see the sea and cruise ships outside the window. It's totally a great 4 star hotel.

Room was great and nicely decorated, furniture, painting etc, guy in reception was very kind and helpful, we had a balcony facing the water, appreciated high quality products in bathroom but most of all...The BREAKFAST was absolutely outstanding!!! I've eaten a lot of breakfasts in my 42 yo life and I'm used to Swedish breakfasts that have a very high standard but Scandic Alexandra in Molde broke all records. So many options to choose from, bread was fantastic, eggs in 3 different ways, luxurious cheeses, fruit salad AND cut fruit, even a big variety of veggies you dont see in your regular hotel breakfasts, dessert table. The list goes on and on....

Very decent hotel, friendly and competent staff, great breakfast buffet. The surroundings aren't that great, Molde isn't the most inspiring town. But as a stopover before or after taking the ferry either to the mainland or towards Kristiansund this place is golden. We'd gladly return here!
