What an amazing property in beautiful Monemvasia castle. Great location! Beautifully appointed historical rooms. Very spacious and comfortable. Super clean. Nice bottle of wine upon arrival was a really nice touch. This is our second visit to this wonderful property and we absolutely enjoyed it.

Our two night stay was delightful with such an interesting multilevel room inside the castle. We met the owners who were helpful in all ways. Upon arrival, we called and Vespina arranged for a porter to meet us at the gate and transfer our luggage to the room. Everything about our room was wonderful, a super comfortable bed and a wonderful sitting room with terrace and seaside view. We definitely recommend this lovely family hotel and we will look forward to staying here again in the future.

We had such a great time at Ardamis. The place has such unique characterists you could only find in Monemvasia like an 800 year old well in your living room! The hosts were very nice and made us feel welcome. They provided us free snacks and drinks in the fridge as well which was a nice touch. Other fun amenities included lights of all different colors, a back porch for eating/relaxing, and a shower with all the nozzles, bells and whistles. We would definitely stay here again!

First of all, you've chosen this location because you want to stay within the walls of a medieval village carved into a mountain. Parking is along a road outside the walls and if you're lucky you might have a 15 minute walk up a hill with your suitcases. Some people get a taxi to the city gate. We walked for about 25 from the car to the opening in 35 degrees. However, the owners did offer a porter. The hotel was about 15 minutes from the gates for us to carry luggage and 8 minutes for the superhuman porter who took our luggage back to the gate when leaving. See pic of him with trolley. The owners were super welcoming and showed us around this remarkable converted two level apartment. Quite unique. There was a remote for the LED lighting which you would never master but it was fun. An AC unit above the bed was an amazing boon as the atmosphere was humid. It would have benefitted from AC in the upper level. There was no kitchen area which, for many would not be an issue as the small number of close by restaurants were outstanding. There was a kettle and fridge and this suited us. In terms of cost, this was the upper end of what we would pay in Greece and without breakfast, I am not sure this was value for money but .... if you are into experiences ... this is a great surprise. You are sleeping and living in a 6th century AD place!

We stayed here for two nights on our tour of the Peleponnese and it was delightful. The rooms are in an old building just inside the fortified town. We had a large mini-suite at the bottom of the steps. King-size bed with steps down to a large seating area. The front door with a table and chairs outside is on a terrace over-looking the sea-wall (public). At the back there are also doors onto a shared courtyard. The guest house is not currently serving breakfast, but the hostess offer an ordering service from a local patisserie offering delivery of a range of copious and excellent breakfast options. Also in room tea and coffee-making (filter) for your second cup of coffee.

Perfect place to stay in Monemvasia. Lots of character and charm. Clean and stylish! It is also situated perfect close to the see and one step away from the restaurants so you can enjoy the silence and the atmosphere. A better guest house can't be found.

Charming hotel steps away from the main drag wiry shops restaurants. Beautifully appointed rooms with traditional Monemvasian decor. Multi level layout of the room gives you plenty of space , small kitchenette, outdoor terrace with amazing views of the sea.

Nestled right within the old walls and easily accessible to the public parking and shops and restaurants, you couldn't find a more convenient spot in the old town. However, it isn't all about location location location here - the room was amazing. It had a full balcony overlooking the water and a 3-floor loft with cozy living room, kitchenette and SUPER comfy bed. The bathroom facilities were basic, but that's to be expected in a medieval town. The hosts were super-friendly, and the room was totally decked out for Christmas. What an experience!
