We stayed at Santa Maria 24 during our family trip through Italy, and it turned out to be one of the absolute highlights of our journey. We had the city view room for four on the fourth floor, and it was perfect—spacious, spotless, and really comfortable. We loved being right above the main square, where you could hear the soft hum of the piazza and the hotel’s restaurant below—it gave us such a great sense of the town’s energy, but never felt too loud or busy. The rooftop terrace was another favorite spot for us. The views of the sea and old town were incredible, and it was the perfect place to relax in the sun while the kids took a breather. Breakfast each morning was a real treat—plenty of fresh, high-quality choices, with delicious homemade pastries and savory dishes that clearly had a lot of care put into them. The team also thought of all the little extras that made a big difference: they arranged a complimentary transfer to and from the parking garage, packed us takeaway breakfast boxes on our last morning when we had to leave early, and even provided beach towels, a bag, and an umbrella to use during our stay. It made heading to the beach with kids so much simpler and stress-free. On our last night, we had dinner at the hotel’s restaurant downstairs, and it was such a great way to end our stay—amazing food, great service, and just a few steps from our room. We’ve visited Rome, Sorrento, Amalfi, and Matera on this trip, but Monopoli really captured our hearts, and a huge part of that was the warm hospitality at Santa Maria 24. Sandrine and her team were so kind and welcoming—we felt right at home. If you’re visiting Monopoli, don’t think twice—Santa Maria 24 is truly special.
