I should be able to walk from the shower to the bed without my feet turning black. Just mop the floor and quit being lazy.

Housekeeping came every morning around 8 banging on the door. The door had a huge gap underneath it where you could see outside . The staff were rude & not friendly

Evening office clerk gave our reservation to a completely different person shortly after we made the reservation and we were still six hours away. When we arrived, we were told to contact Travelocity as they showed no active pending reservations. They called us back inside stating our room was given away to someone with a similar name but wrong person. They would not pull our card info off that room and attach it to the new room, nor were we given any guarantee that damages to the other room wouldn’t come back against us. We were told the new room was free of charge as the other room was already booked and stayed in.
I have a lot of concerns about the check-in policy at this location. No confirmation of booking number or confirming card on booking or anything. Now someone else has a free room without any penalty of damages and we are taking the risk.

Service was fine. Room was cleaned. The thing I felt a need to report (which I don’t normally do) was the overwhelming odor upon entering the room.
Not sure there’s a fix for it.

Clean and priced for the amenities. The faux wooden floors are excellent. No smelly carpeted floors! More hotels should offer this! No breakfast offered.

When I booked a 2-night stay in what I recall as a rather bleak part of town, I did not expect what I walked into. The room was welcoming and immaculate. I am a low-maintenance traveler, so I can't really speak to the amenities or extras, but I can wholeheartedly recommend the Red Roof Monroe, and will return should the need arise.

I’m a truck driver. My wife was going to meet me to bring important documents and stay the night. She arrived at 11:00pm. The staff wouldn’t allow her to check in. I was 4 hrs away. She had to go to another hotel. The Red Roof Inn took my money. I booked in advance. Paid in advance and paid $4.50 per person insurance fee. The refused a refund. Refused to allow my wife into the room we paid for.
