Super location and nice rooms. Unfortunately a lot of coach parties arrived during and stay so it was super busy. I actually caught covid from one of the party who coughed all over me :((
Also when I asked for a towel for poolside I was rudely spoken to. Breakfast nothing special and breakfast room too busy
Would stay again but choose my time

We enyoyed Grand Hotel Croce di Malta as part of a Collette tour of Tuscany. The hotel is very well appointed and is within walking distance of many fine dining spots and other attractions of interest. Our guest room was spacious and well appointed. The bathroom, in particular, was very spacious. We would recommend this hotel for others to enjoy!

Ideal for a day of meetings or even solo-working in a refined, warm, environment. The staff is kind, the place is immaculate. After a day of working one has even the opportunity of a massage in the SPA of the hotel, or a glass of wine at the bar. Love it.

The rooms were very comfortable. We had connected rooms with my teenagers. Clean, breakfast was ok. Montecatini is a good location to visit different Italian cities. Cafe, restaurants and bars are walkable.

We checked in evening, toilet not flushing, toilet lights blinking. The mini Elevator is no good, we take the stairs to avoid getting trapped, lots of stairs and turning corners. On check out day, elevator was not working, and we're not allowed to use the back elevator, so all of us had to carry 25-30kg luggages down the stairs and no one as in NO ONE from the hotel helped.. BEWARE if you are booked this hotel on a tour. Ours was with TANGNEY TOURS. I was with a pilgrimage group - 28 in all. While the hotel itself was good enough - I have NEVER eaten such TERRIBLE food. For our two nights, the dinners were worse than are served in prisons. Chickpeas and pasta - masquerading as a Tuscan soup - utterly flavourless as it came only in its cooking water. A slab of overcooked spinach and circles of processed turkey meat was the entire main course. I asked for the vegetarian option - with my spinach came two 'patties' - one ? sweet potato? and one - spinach. The second night I received two spinach patties, dried up and not even warm. My complaints to the hotel have been received with 'well, food is such a personal choice'. It was quite obvious that this group booking was an opportunity for the hotel to make a lot of profit by feeding us the cheapest and most labour saving meal. To add insult, we had to walk through a part of the dining room where a conference were being served what appeared very good food. My complaint to the tour company has just been 'put on hold'.
