Where to start !!!! This was a Caledonian coach trip called “A taste of Italy” Arrived and bathroom wasn’t clean. There was a plug socket hanging off the wall leaving the exposed wires. Admittedly they swapped our room the following day. The fridge in the room didn’t chill anything it COOKED it. There was no temperature control for it. The bed was 2 singles pushed together with the thinnest mattress I have ever had the pleasure of sleeping on or not. On the plus side the air conditioning was pretty good and there was no extra charge. There are 2 goldfish in the foyer in a big vase. It needed cleaning as the fish didn’t look comfortable. The pool area was clean and tidy and we managed to have a few hours chilled out. There is an outside bar that doesn’t really offer much . For a beer moreti it was 4 euros but you can go to the local supermarket and buy bigger bottles of the same for 1 euro 36 cents. They had a variation of spirits and cold soft drinks. For what we paid for the 4 night I suppose it wasn’t the end of the world. We had 3 continental breakfasts that were made up of boiled eggs, stale bread, gristley ham, cheese and some pastries. There was no toaster. Only one of the coffee machines were turned on so everyone was queuing. Dinner was very nice first evening was pasta followed by pork in lemon sauce the second night was lasagna followed by chicken with roast potatoes. The third evening was pasta followed by beef stew with a watermelon slice for dessert. The manager was a lovely lady who went out of her way to help with every issue we had and couldn’t do any more. Then there were 2 other ladies that were management that were absolutely shocking. They were rude and even at one point shouted at us for using the coffee machine at tea time telling us coffee was only for breakfast. The Bar man spent more time drinking and smoking and wasn’t too helpful with his understocked bar. The waiting staff in the restaurant were again very helpful. All in all I wouldn’t advise stopping here but please make your own mind up. I wouldn’t do it through Caledonian ever again but I would love the drivers to drive me and my family in the uk as they were very helpful informative and funny.

This hotel is by far the worst I have had the absolute displeasure of staying in. The hotel is old and run down, don't let the pool and entrance fool you, they might look nice but the moment you get closer there are cracks. The rooms are horrendously old and almost unusable. The mattresses on the beds are thin and flimsy, the pillows are falling apart (literally, the stuffing is falling out of them), the extra blankets in the closet stink of mould. The air conditioning is incredibly loud yet barely cools down the space to be able to sleep. The cleanliness of the rooms is... questionable. Pillows had hairs and eyelashes on them when we arrived, and the room smelled... old and mouldy. There are no soap gels for showering, but you do get 2 bars of handsoaps (the hard, not liquid kind). And you also get the least toilet paper you could while still technically having some in the room (there were 3 of us in a room and we got 1/2 of a toilet paper roll for 1 day). And the water pressure does not exist. It's impossible to get wet, let alone to wash off any soap. Don't look forward to a relaxing showerat the end of the day if you are stay in this hotel. The staff was ok, though we didn't communicate with them a lot, the tour guide did most of the talking. Breakfast is extremely bad, the options are limited to 1 kind of cheap cheese, 1 kind of cheap ham, 1 kind of old and dry bread, a few jams, 1 kind of the cheapest cereal money can buy and watered-down juice (it has no taste, barely even a colour (stick to water). The croissants are ok, normal store bought quality. But the worst thing is the coffee. Italian coffee is usually one of the best things you can have, but this hotel managed to massacre it so thoroughly that I don't even know if you can call it coffee anymore... One more thing I noticed, the hotel isn't accessible to anyone who can't walk, especially those that use a wheelchair. I knew that Italian accommodation is poor compared to most of the EU, but I was still shocked by how abysmal this place is. If you have any other options then skip this place, even if you only plan to sleep it's not worth it.

A complete nightmare! We accidentally had to change our hotel at the last minute and it was the worst place we could have ended up! The rooms were very dirty. The food was at a very low level. The bread was old and soggy. Our room had dirty pillowcases and one dirty towel stained with lipstick. The floor was dirty and we had to clean it ourselves because "the cleaning staff was not at work". The walls around the beds were stained with questionable stains. I have no words for what we experienced.

Stayed here for 4 nights whilst visiting Rome, Florence and Pisa with Caledonian Travel. Overall the experience was great. The hotel has a pool free to all guests, which was lovely to relax in on our last day. Evening meals were good, and we were asked if we wanted extra portions after too. Breakfast was a slight let down as there were limited options - the juice machine seemed to be broken and the only pastry was a crossaint which was very sweet. Despite this the rooms were great and were clean upon arrival. There aren’t any coffee making facilities in the rooms which I overheard other guests complaining about, but that doesn’t bother me as I don’t drink coffee or tea. Also, when room service came to clean up during the day, only half rolls of toilet paper were left instead of a full, unused one - not sure if this is some sort of initiative to not waste paper (which would be good) or if there was a shortage. Finally I also wanted to mention the staff - on the first night my partner and I were in an awkward situation where the lock on one of the suitcases was stuck so the staff helped us to get it off. When I asked first if they had any tools to help, the staff member didn’t say anything and just gave a confused look, but at the time there were other guests having issues so I don’t really mind. In the end we got the suitcase open. Generally the staff here were very attentive and accommodating to all of our needs.

It was a horrible experience. Staff was pretty rude. They wouldn’t let us use the pool because of some “rules”. When we got into room we didn’t have electricity (for the first few hours) and wifi is just horrable (works only in hotel lobby). Rooms aren’t better either. Bed is really uncomfortable and everything around me is pretty horrible looking. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

I came to Italy on a school trip and this hotel was absolutely perfect. Within an hour from most places such as Florence and Pisa and being in such a beautiful town, the location was perfect for any travelling tourists. The hotel itself was gorgeous, the lobby and various rooms were outstanding. The pool was maintained perfectly and provided a great space to relax. The rooms were very good for storage and convenience with fresh bathroom supplies daily. The food was incredible and as there were two three course meals per day, there was also plenty of it. The customer service only got better as all the staff were kind and patient with a big smile and flexible towards are needs. Definitely would recommend staying here if staying in Tuscany and would love to come back one day!!

Came here on a school trip, would definitely come here again if I came on my own. The rooms are large and have gorgeous views and the furniture style was really nice. Meals were absolutely lovely, lunch and dinner served three courses, all of which were great. The pool was really pretty.
