Best Hotels in Montepulciano

We had our wedding here from 30th June - 1st July. We booked the venue more than 2.5 years in advance and worked with Antonella throughout the entire process. She was amazing to work with and highly recommend having a wedding at the borgo! We rented out the entire property exclusively for ourselves & guests for the weekend. The grounds are so beautiful with views from the entire borgo. The rooms are also very nice with a rustic Tuscan feel. Antonella and the entire Borgo staff worked with us to make our wedding weekend perfect. Last minute, we had to change the dinner location due to rain, and the staff was quick to rearrange all of the tables to inside. I had guests coming up to me saying this was the best wedding they had ever been to. We will be returning to the Borgo for our anniversary!

I wouldn't know how to describe this oasis of peace, located on the magical hills of the Val d'Orcia with a wonderful view of Montepulciano. A place where you can be good, relax and enjoy everything that people and products of the territory can give. Yeah, because Mars' sympathy and kindness make you good and make you feel comfortable. The rest is made by the room, very nice and with a very comfortable bed (this may be the same quality for the coats) and a spacious breakfast! All at no mile, wonderful bread, affected by the place and so many typical sweets really sensational (I can't forget the crostaceous of the cotton apple and the cantuccis, fantastic)! I count more than honestly, I can only advise you this structure if you stop in the area, you will not regret it.

Very central hotel, a stone's throw from the thermal baths of Montepulciano, parking on the street, in front of the entrance, lift for those with heavy suitcases, with the family management of a very close-knit ”hotel team”, exceptional welcome and all staff very friendly at all levels, Free and fast WiFi, large, bright, quiet, very clean room, new furniture, new and modern bathroom, new air conditioning, very efficient and silent, we recommend dinner in the own restaurant with a pre-choice of 3-4 local specialities, perfectly cooked, impeccable presentation of dishes, very good wine from own production, and a large choice of homemade desserts for the breakfast Unbeatable value for money - there are not enough stars for the rating! The maximum rating seen on the internet is true and absolutely confirmed. For sure, we will come back with the first chance, with friends and recommend the same to everyone. My primary interest was to stay close to Val d'Orca having seen such beautiful pictures of the place. However, when I bumped into Relias Villa Grazianella during my stay search in Tuscany, the pictures of the accommodation were too perfect to resist even though the location looked a bit further out from Pienza. Having visited, I am absolutely glad I made this decision LOCATION : This place looks like something out of a movie - secluded, with the feel of being so closely connected to nature, the view of shimmering lights of Montepulciano some distance away on a hill, completely surrounded by Olive trees and Vineyards. It is simply magical and makes you want to come back again and again. During the Tuscany visit I got to see a lot of farm stays, BnB etc but the size, scale, location and ambience of this place is incomparable by any other. The Villa sits in the middle of acres of agriculture land owned by a large corporate. The ambience is perfect to relax, unwind and enjoy the beautiful nature and landscape. Montepulciano is not too far from this location. VILLA : A perfect blend of traditional Italian with the modern comfort. The rooms are very large with windows opening to some extremely beautiful views and sounds of birds chirping. The restaurant decor and setup is cozy and inviting. The property's landscape is just too heavenly and beautiful. FOOD : The best food throughout our Italian trip. Fresh ingredients and excellent preparations for breakfast, what one expects from an accommodation in Tuscany. Excellent variety and portions. The true Italian smells and tastes one was looking for. STAFF : Good friendly staff, makes you feel at home. Especially the lady serving us breakfast in the morning (unfortunately forgot to ask her name) treated us like we were guests in her own home. This place is truly heaven on earth and worth booking without a thought. I wish we could have stayed longer, but will be definitely back again.

My boyfriend and I visited this hotel for our first night in Italy, and we could not have asked for a better way to start the trip. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the room was very comfortable, and the food was incredible. It was a short drive to Montepulciano and Pienza so we were able to explore the two towns without expending too much energy. The area was relatively quiet, so we were not disturbed by loud noises. I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Tuscany! It’s perfectly enjoyable for individuals, couples, families, or a group of friends.

Ciao a tutti .Oggi , per la vigilia di Natale, da solo , purtroppo, mi sono fermato a mangiare qualcosa . Lamentavo la mia solitudine, mi hanno accolto subito , mi hanno fatto accomodare , mangiare , mi hanno fatto compagnia ,il caffè …nel momento in qui volevo pagare mi hanno accompagnato al uscita . Non mi hanno fatto pagare !!!mi hanno stretto la mano e mi hanno fatto gli auguri di Buon Natale..5 stelle sono poche . Grazie di cuore

Stayed for a couple nights in the Rossa Suite. This is lovely guesthouse, with our Suite being on the top floor of the building having stunning view of the countryside and other buildings in Montepulciano. Rossa suite was large with plenty of space. What I really liked was the communication from the owners. The day before I received a whatsapp message asking when we will be arriving and giving us general directions to the hotel. During the stay they would also message you to make sure everything was OK. Other points to note: - Location is about 100m from the bottom of the hill where the main entrance of the old town is. - The hotel is on the top floor, so you need to walk up 3 flights of stairs to reach. The Rossa suite is up another very narrow staircase. We were travelling with 2 large suitcases. It was OK for us but it is worth noting for anyone who may have issues with this. - Our suite did have an aircon unit but didn't seem to be working as the control on the wall did not operate it. When we were staying in June the temp was generally cool, but i imagine it could be an issue in the heat of summer. We did not ask if there is a separate remote control for the aircon unit. - There is a nice rooftop balcony that is available for all guests. Good views and there a chairs if you fancy a late afternoon drink. - Small kitchen area on the main floor. - Breakfast was at a cafe about 100m from the hotel. Its a nice historic cafe. The standard breakfast is just drinks and pastries. Through the hotel we paid an extra 3 euro each to include a hot option that was basically eggs and piece of bacon. - There are plenty of places for lunch in town but they do get busy with large tour groups and day trippers. If you are having dinner we strongly recommend booking in advance as not all places are open in the evening, particularly on Mondays as we found to our peril!

This hotel is really great for families. The rooms are: Comfortable Clean Spacious And some have lovely views and terraces. It is nice and quiet. There is a pool and beautiful views. The staff was very courteous and professional. The views from the area where you eat are stunning! The price is reasonable. You need a car to get around the area Only negatives: They do supply breakfast and are very generous with the amount of cakes and cookies and assorted drinks. However the food is somewhat mediocre. It would also be nice to maybe have fresh fruit or something. The pool tho lovely was not heated. This is a very minor issue since once you get inside it feels ok. However do not let these stop you. I really recommend this hotel for a lovely stay!
