The location of the hotel is very good, but it is a bit troublesome to take the elevator back to the room and need to change the elevator. The service in the restaurant is very good and the taste is very good. Sit outside and enjoy the sea view while eating.

Great locati9n close to but not too close to cannery row. Can walk the coast from here.easy behicle access. Our partial ocean view room had a good view on top of the water - saw otters from the room. Service was great all around.

Beautiful property. Listening to the waves roll in all evening long was amazing…so relaxing. Sea otters outside our balcony! However, my wife and I have food allergies (gluten and shellfish) and we were unsuccessful at finding any dinning options on the property. That was truly our only disappointment. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Would stay there again, if we visit the Monterey area.

Fabulous Ocean view rooms. Very clean and spacious. Hotel even provides binoculars to view Sea Otters and other wild life. Hotel local to Cannery Row, easy walk to the aquarium and harbor.

Beautiful location right on the water. We stayed here for New Year’s Eve. Dinner and breakfast were first class. Lobby gorgeous as is the rest of the hotel.

The room we stayed had a bit of musty smell--Since the hotel is a seaside hotel, we expected this. Luckly, it wasn't coming from bed sheets or pillow covers. We believe the smell is coming from the carpet. The bathtub drained slow--there must be some hairs clogged somewhere, making it unpleasant when taking a shower. However, the staffs are amazing here, making up for the short comings of the property. We would love to see the improvements next time.

It was a great place for ocean animal lovers. We saw a lot of wild sea otters from balcony of our room and dining terrace. Also, there were so many nice lunch/dining options within walkable area from the hotel. On top of that, the world awarded Monterey bay aquarium was also walkable from there, just 10 mins.
Only one point I felt negatively was a fridge of my room. It didn’t work despite max cooling mode.
