The guy that checked me in was very friendly and helpful. I got to my room and it was NOT AS ADVERTISED. I reserved a king deluxe, which was described as having a sitting area with comfy leather lounge-type chairs. When I saw that my room did not have these features, I went to the front desk where a different employee greeted me. I explained the situation and he basically just shrugged and mumbled something about there was nothing he could do about it. Then I mentioned that the WiFi would not support my devices needed to do my work. This time he became argumentative trying to say something about they have “many routers” and it must be MY equipment. Now, I’m quite tech savvy and I also have very good, new equipment. Knowing that I wouldn’t be able to argue my way into a refund, I had no choice but to go elsewhere to complete my work. The only saving grace was that my smartphone did get the WiFi.
The room itself was clean but the exterior was disgusting. I mean just spend the money and give the stairs and walkways a good power washing. The mini fridge stopped working and the freezer ice melted all over. There’s a 7/11 next door so that was convenient. I think the elevator had a turd in it. Maybe that’s proof that it’s pet friendly.
