The hotel was comfortable and friendly. The food at the restaurant is okay but there are other options nearby if you don’t mind sharing the steep hill. No air condition but it was cool enough during the night.

We had the most amazing room with a swing and a view of the ocean far away! The staff was wonderful, courteous, friendly and professional! The location was also great: walking distance to downtown Santa Elena, and closer to the cloud forest Santa Elena than other hotels.

We stayed here for two nights. Our overall experience was good. The room had a nice view with a balcony.
The bed and pillows were not very comfortable. The breakfast was okay but there were not a lot of options.

Hotel Don Taco is excellent hotel for the price in Monteverde. Walkable to marketplace, close to all parks. The staff were super friendly. The main highlight was breakfast and the view that we get from the hotel
. The view is breathtaking. The breakfast is fresh and delicious with lots of options. My kids loved the two dogs they have who are super friendly.
The rooms are ok type with less ameneties.
When its windy, it makes lots of noise because of trees nearby.

Within walking distance to town center, this stay was ideal for our stay in Monteverde. Great views, great staff, parking and even towels for show cleaning. Highly recommended.

Hotel was very comfortable and had a nice view of Monteverde. The staff, particularly Thomas and those at breakfast, were great and they assisted us with excursions and transportation. During our stay, the wind was pretty extreme but our cabin was safe. It was also very clean and very spacious, and breakfast was good too. Would definitely stay here again.

An excellent property. Helpful staff. Central location. Parking is limited. The breakfast was better than most pther places. Love it.
