The hotel is in a very good location, in the city center, not far from Mcgill and some old streets. The famous must-eat restaurant Schwartz Grill is also within walking distance.
The hotel looks older than a few years ago, and the facilities can only be described as having basic facilities.
The hotel parking lot is not big, so there may not be a place to park, but fortunately, it can be parked on the road next to it.

My train was running late. I tried to reach them by phone at 11:00 pm to let them know of the delay but no one answers the phone. They advertise that someone is at the checkin desk till 11:30 pm

This hotel was in a perfect location and close to malls, restaurants and everything you would want to do. The staff were friendly and accommodating. Felt safe in this area. Beds were very comfortable.
The washroom did need to be renovated, it was old.

This is a great place to stay while traveling to downtown Montreal. Room was clean and comfortable and the location was very convenient for getting around the city or picking up anything you might need during a trip.

bathroom was old and in need of repair. Parking boxed your car in and when I wanted out, I had to move other tenants cars.

Definitely a 2-star hotel, but decent and really convenient! I couldn't figure out the parking and so parked in the UQAM underground parking about a block away ($11 for 24h on the weekend), which meant I didn't have to move my car after checking out.
