This is a wonderful inn to stay at in Montreal. The hosts are lovely, and the room was very spacious and comfortable. The homemade breakfast is delicious. It is the perfect location for exploring the city and walking to restaurants. This is our second stay and we will look forward to next time.

***This place was a complete fraud. STAY FAR AWAY.*** I booked a room on their website a little less than a week before my trip to Montreal for the solar eclipse. I received two confirmation emails confirming my booking and requesting that I provide my arrival date and time which I did. In the following days, I sent several emails and left a voicemail requesting arrival details and asking a few questions about the facilities. No one responded to any of my messages. On the drive up to Montreal, I tried calling upwards of two dozen times but the phone would go directly to a fast busy signal. At this point, I was getting quite worried that something was amiss and, sure enough, when I arrived at the property it was completely locked up and appeared to be shut down. While standing outside the property, I checked my credit card and was shocked to see that there was an 800USD charge pending on my account. I was fortunate enough to have the means to book a different hotel at the last minute (which, frankly, was incredible given the number of people coming into town for the eclipse) but I can't imagine how stressful this would have been for a traveler or family on a more limited budget. I gave the owners the completely undeserved courtesy of waiting a week before posting any reviews in the off-chance that they would reach out and explain what happened. They have not. There is absolutely no excuse for this. I will be reporting the property to the proper regulatory bodies and authorities advising of this fraudulent activity and highly recommend that any one looking for a place in Montreal steer far clear of this place.

As everyone else mentions, Natalie and Robert are wonderful friendly and helpful hosts. They make the breakfast and the whole experience a nice opportunity to meet your fellow travelers, or have privacy, whichever you prefer. The common area is also comfortable for reading and lounging. Clean, attractive, perfectly located for wandering around the Place des Arts and the Place des Spectacles and UQAM. Very very close to the subway, too. Our bed was firm but not hard, the covers were warm and new. With the black out shutters, too, and a room that overlooked the gardens in the back, I slept extra every day. Very highly recommended.
