Hotel Morgan a Wyndham Hotel

Great place to stay very clean and quiet! Nice bed and bathroom, staff is great they have a fun little bar and bartender onsite. Right across the street is Iron horse which has amazing beers /cocktails and amazing food / burgers. Convenient and nice place to stay when visiting or dropping you kids off at college !

Love the location on downtown Morgantown! Fun town and great restaurants and we were able to see the fireworks display on the river while we visited.

Hotel is centrally located to many restaurants and the university. It is a beautiful old hotel with modern amenities. Beds were comfortable and shower was nice. Only drawback was lighting at the sink for putting on makeup. The addition of the larger refrigerator was great! I recommend valet parking. Parking attendant was very nice and fast! Would definitely stay there again!

When traveling north from South Carolina my wife and I have made a habit of staying in Morgantown out by the interstate. When using the app to secure lodging, the interstate hotels were all sold out. Decided to stay at Hotel Morgan as there was availability. What a great quaint boutique hotel at a reasonable price. Clean updated and lots of charm and caracter. Walking distance to the Riverwalk and many restaurants and pubs. I can almost guarantee that the next time we do this trip we will be staying at the hotel Morgan. Restaurant tip: walk down to the Riverwalk, then have dinner at Oliverio’s within walking distance.

We checked in May 23, 2026 and checked out May 26 and our room located in the 4th floors. Our stay at Hotel Morgan was awesome and we absolutely loved the historic atmosphere and charm of the property. The hotel was beautiful, well maintained, and in a great location, and our room was very comfortable throughout our stay. We also had wonderful experiences with several staff members. The bartenders were friendly and welcoming, the valet parking team was helpful and courteous, and the food was excellent. The only area that could use improvement was our checkout experience. While checking out, the interaction at the front desk felt less welcoming, and our questions regarding the bill and nearby breakfast options for Memorial Day were not answered as clearly as we had hoped. A more attentive and customer-focused approach during checkout would make the overall experience even better. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Morgan and would definitely consider returning because of the beautiful property, amenities, and positive experiences with most of the staff.

Visiting my daughter at school and brought a friend and her daughter for the first time, who will be a starting freshman. They loved the hotel and will be staying here when they visit in the future, hotel has a great location, upscale modern decor and very friendly staff. Rooms are spacious, well thought out and clean.

Morgan Hotel is an historic building, located on the main *****, High Street, which is very cool. It’s not the typical cookie cutter hotel. The staff is also very nice 24/7. The next time we visit WV, we will be staying at the Morgan Hotel.

Great experience. Beautiful room and location is perfect. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and responses to all my questions were answered quickly.
