So I've recently returned from a week here all inclusive with my 13 year old daughter... I'll start with my first impressions, reception staff were very friendly, helpful and spoke good English. The reception area is very clean and tidy, the hotel grounds (compared to many I've been to) are quite small, so you can find your way around easily. Our room was basic, but clean and tidy, I have to say the wardrobe was very generous with hangars. If you don't get your room cleaned, you will get a voucher for a premium drink left for you. This is a good idea, however because of this there doesn't seem to be many housekeeping staff. There was one day mid way through I wanted clean towels, so I didn't put the thing on the door, but I didn't get the room cleaned, nor a voucher. The next day however it did get cleaned. The animation team do a great job, the entertainment was pretty good, which is welcome when Morro Jable really doesn't have much in the way of nightlife/live entertainment. The cocktails are like most AI hotels nowadays, made with squash and come out of a machine. The premium cocktails are obviously better but VERY strong. The pool was always clean, but I think they do enforce no inflatables, not once did anyone have one. The restaurant... very clean, good choice of drinks, breakfast and lunch, had much the same vast choice, however evening meal choices were in my opinion a bit limited. My daughter is slightly less fussy than me but even she settled for chips and pizza most nights. One slight critism is that every hotel I've ever been to in the past, whether the canaries or greek islands has a board outside the restaurant telling you what the "theme" for the evening meal will be that day, so early on if it's something you really don't want you can plan to go out for the evening, so you do have to just go in and see what's on that evening. I think that covers it, as a Brit you should be prepared to be a minority, I'd guess we were 5% where the rest were German. But I can't say we were treated any differently. I'd recommend, especially if you want to be right next to the beach, and don't tie yourself to the hotel for evening meals every day.
