Taoyuan Motels

"The soundproofing is excellent, making it very quiet, which is a blessing for light sleepers. They also provide complimentary water, biscuits, desserts, coffee, and tea. Surprisingly, there's even popcorn and instant noodles! As soon as you enter, you can feel how thoughtful the hotel is. It's also conveniently located, just a seven-minute walk from the MRT station. I highly recommend this place; I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Taoyuan."

"The staff were really lovely and I'm sure that had I have spoken Chinese, the things I'm about to say would've been different as I would've been able to explain them over the phone and get them rectified.  CONS: I didn't get there until almost 1 am due to a flight delay and then missing the last MTR, so by the time I did get there all I wanted was a hot bath and a quiet night's sleep. Firstly, the room had definitely had smokers in it previously. They may have done a treatment but it was still noticeable. Secondly, there was 'hair' in the bathtub from a previous occupant. So I definitely didn't use it. Thirdly, I got almost no sleep – even though the bed was really comfortable – because the smoke alarm in the room needed its battery replaced and spent all night making that very loud high-pitched sound that you cannot ignore! Now again, had I've been able to pick up the phone and ask them to come and sort it, it could have been a different story, but... PROS: the room was a great size, and the bathroom had both a spa bath and a walk-in shower. It also was very large and is well set up for customers to drive their vehicle into the ground floor of the unit then go up the stairs to the first floor where the actual room is. The staff were very nice and welcoming even though I arrived so late and even gave me some instant noodle cups. I also got a voucher for breakfast, but didn't end up getting to use it as I was too tired to get out of bed and go there before it finished.  I may not be the target clientele for this establishment, and while this particular stay had farcical elements, now that I know what it's like and how it works, I probably would stay there again simply due to how nice the staff were. It's not their fault that I don't speak Chinese. "

"The hotel bathroom is new and there is a jacuzzi. There is also a bath powder. In addition, the toilet is free of toilet. The sink is also new. It is very clean. The hotel room also provides a massage chair."
