I had a wonderful one-night stay at Haka House Mount Cook. The hostel was clean, comfortable, and had a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the stunning mountain surroundings made the experience unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Aoraki/Mount Cook!

The hotel staff were friendly and professional. The room was spacious and bright, with a comfortable and clean bed, and a beautiful view outside the window. The location is excellent, with convenient transportation and many great food options nearby. The breakfast selection was rich and varied. I was completely satisfied every day of my stay! Highly recommended, I'll definitely come back next time!

Because I caught a bad cold this time, I had to stay in the hostel to rest. But the view outside was beautiful, and there weren't many people since it was off-season. I even received a lot of delicious food (from strangers). Thanks to Haka for providing such a great environment.

Initially, I was going to book the Haka House at Lake tekapo but mistakenly booked the one at Mt Cook. It turned out to be surprisingly good. The view was magnificent. The room and toilets are clean.

Plocation was great, and the kitchen was very well equipped for cooking. One important tip — remember to do your grocery shopping before heading to Mount Cook. Otherwise, like us, your dinner might end up being Shin Ramyun while saying goodbye to steaks and meat for the night.

Had a great stay here! The backpacker hostel was clean, comfortable, and had a really friendly atmosphere. Staff were helpful and the location was convenient for exploring the area. Met lots of awesome travelers during my stay. Would definitely recommend for budget travelers!

Very nice location although it was very quiet at night with limited foods/restaurant around. Overall clean hotel and nice place to stay if you are heading to Mt Cook!
