Reviews of Comfort Inn the Lakes

Comes with two Tesla EV chargers, very old but works well. Motel owners weren’t sure about whether it works with other non-Tesla vehicles but I’ve tested it works fine with my BYD.

Easy to find and conveniently located near the beach and main shopping street, all within walking distance. Great for dining and shopping!

Hotel has great city views and just around the corner from Blue Lake. Hotel rooms are in good size and they have a half size fridge with proper freezer. Their beds were the biggest disappointment because they still use the old style bed that one person move the other person feels all the movement. If they improve the bed, I would give it a 4 stars.

Our large standard room is indeed very large. Love the microwave and plates/cutlery provided in the room, the long benchtop in addition to the table. The bathroom (e.g. hot & cold taps, toilet) is old model, but nothing affects usage. I feel like the carpet could be cleaner (the bottom of my feet got dirty after walking around inside the room barefooted), but everything else is spotless.

The room was very spacious and comfortable.

It's located a little outside the center. Blue Lake is just a short walk away.

The hotel is located in a cozy place. The rooms are already quite old. But overall it is ok to spend one night.
