Candlewood Suites CHARLESTON – MT. PLEASANT by IHG

Could not have been happier with the room, the staff, or our stay. They have a lil area that has items for purchase and the drink selection could have included milk, but given the fact our room had a full size fridge, was not a bit bothered as we just bought some. It was spacious and had just about everything you could think of. Outlet usage was a bit sparse on one side of the bed, but again, not a big deal. Price was amazing. I would absolutely stay here again.

Very smooth check in, the check in staff is friendly and the check in was fast. The hotel room is like a studio apartment room with kitchenette and big refrigerator. We enjoyed our stay there.

The room was clean and accommodating; however, the air freshener, deodorizer, or something scented was used in the room prior to me checking in, that was extremely strong scented and it did not fade over my stay. It disrupted my sleep as I am chemically sensitive. The window only opened minimally and did not have a screen to block bugs/fly's.

Everything was fine except the shower had no hot water. The kitchen was well appointed and served our needs well. A friendly staff.

Not our first stay and the only place we'll stay in the future. Friendly, welcoming staff. Close to Charleston historic district and nearby restaurants and shopping in Mt Pleasant.

We had a great stay. The hotel is convenient to downtown and Mt Pleasant area. It was a great value compared to other lodging in the area.

Best location for access to coast, Mt Pleasant and Charleston downtown. Publix, Whole Foods, Trader Joes are all close by. Nice neighborhood behind the hotel. Easy to take walks from hotel. Staff was helpful and always spoke to you as you entered and exited. It was clean. Comfortable bed. It was great having a full kitchen.
