AAnitawongThis was one of the most beautiful memories I shared with my best friend. First, I really loved the hotel's design. The overall space is simple and natural, yet feels very premium. The room was spacious and incredibly comfortable, with no cramped feeling at all. Every day, they replenished fresh fruit, instant noodles, drinks, and mineral water in the room. It's clear the hotel is very generous with the details, not stingy in the slightest. What surprised me most about the hotel was the extensive activity schedule. From morning to night, there were different experiences offered, many of which were free, including: - Yacht experience - Shell painting workshop - African drum class - Singing bowl healing session - Evening fireworks display The entire stay was never boring, making it perfect for families, friends, or couples on vacation. The service also deserves praise. Upon check-in, we received a thoughtfully prepared small gift, and all the staff were very enthusiastic, showing that the hotel truly values its guests. For dining, the Chinese restaurant was an absolute delight. The prices were much more reasonable than many resort hotels; two people could eat very well for around 250 RMB, and the food tasted excellent. It offered fantastic value for money. The freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast was exceptionally fresh and delicious, and the congee was surprisingly good—the kind that makes you want to have an extra bowl. Overall, Shanye (苫也) not only boasts beautiful surroundings and comfortable rooms but, more impressively, provides a very complete resort experience, allowing guests to truly slow down and relax. Here are a few small suggestions, hoping for even better improvements in the future: - Housekeeping in public areas could be more regularly patrolled, for example, in areas like the library. Timely cleaning and tidying would enhance the overall experience. - Used towels by the pool should ideally be collected and organized promptly to maintain the aesthetics of the environment. - Designing a unique hand-drawn map to be given to guests upon check-in would be a nice touch. It could help them explore the hotel and its surroundings on their own, adding an element of fun. - Some equipment (such as speakers used for class activities) should be regularly maintained, and their functionality confirmed before activities begin. - The service is already excellent, but if staff could offer more natural smiles, guests would feel even more warmly welcomed. - The hotel is built into the mountain with beautiful views, but there are many uphill paths. Luggage transport relies mainly on staff carrying it manually. In the future, adding more convenient transport channels or auxiliary facilities would not only reduce the burden on employees but also further improve service efficiency. This is a hotel that perfectly blends a sense of 'seclusion' with a 'resort feel'. I look forward to visiting again.

YYao0106Hygiene: The hygiene was impeccable. Facilities: The large shower head was very comfortable, and the hot water came on quickly. The smart toilet was a nice convenience. They even provided bath bags for the bathtub. The pool was clean, and the poolside bar had a great vibe at night. There's also a robot that delivers takeaways. Service: Every staff member I encountered was incredibly warm and friendly. The front desk was very professional and even gave us sand-digging tools. They upgraded our room type, and everyone would proactively greet us when we came and went. The new lady at the front desk had a very friendly smile. On the morning of April 9th, the housekeeping auntie on the 3rd floor was exceptionally good; she immediately provided anything guests needed and was very enthusiastic. The hotel is right across from an outlet mall, which makes dining and shopping very convenient. Next time I'm in Dameisha, I will definitely stay here again.

GGuest UserI stumbled upon this hotel on the platform and booked a night since it's located right above the Women and Children Building. While it's not a big-name brand, that's precisely why it offers such great value for money at this price point! As a family-friendly hotel, I think they've done an excellent job with the relevant aspects. The room was clean and tidy, and the service was thoughtful and attentive. I'm so happy to have stayed in such an environment full of children's laughter and hope, haha. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance! BTW, the Women and Children Building is truly a fantastic place, bustling with local Shenzhen elementary and middle school students, as well as Hongkongers with children. (Just a heads-up, two of the room numbers in the pictures are incorrect, they don't start with 20.)

GGuest UserFor this price, being able to stay in an authentic sea-view room is incredible value for money, absolutely worth it! I've saved this place and will definitely choose it again next time. I genuinely recommend it to everyone! The service is excellent, and the environment is clean and hygienic. WWalk n SeeFuture Hotel Shenzhen Review (December 2025) Overall Rating: 3.5/5 stars Decent budget option for a short stay in Shenzhen, but falls short of expectations, especially if you’re hoping for a truly “new” hotel experience. Location: 4/5 The hotel is conveniently located right next to a pleasant park, perfect for a quick walk or some fresh air. It’s also just a 5-minute stroll to the nearest subway station, making it easy to get around Shenzhen without needing taxis everywhere. Great for travelers relying on public transport. First Impressions and Facilities: 2/5 Advertised as a newly opened hotel, but by late 2025, it didn’t feel fresh or modern at all. The lobby is unusually located on the 7th floor, accessed via an elevator that’s just beside a larger neighboring hotel. The lift area felt dim and outdated compared to the brighter, more upscale vibe of the bigger property nearby. The lobby itself is compact, dimly lit, and lacks any welcoming or luxurious atmosphere—more functional than inviting. Room: 4/5 The room size was surprisingly generous for the price point in Shenzhen, where space often comes at a premium. It was very clean overall, with a large, comfortable bed topped with four plush pillows, perfect for a good night’s sleep. The big flat-screen TV was a nice touch, and the bathroom was decently sized with a good shower and separate toilet area. No complaints on comfort here. Service and Issues: 3/5 The major downside was a frustrating check-in experience. Using the hotel’s systems, the receptionist assigned me to a room that hadn’t been cleaned yet, it still reeked strongly of cigarette smoke and clearly wasn’t ready. I had to trek back down to the lobby (7th floor elevator and all) to get a new key and room assignment. This kind of mix-up feels avoidable and soured the arrival. Final Thoughts Nothing particularly stands out or excels at Future Hotel Shenzhen—it’s serviceable and clean in the rooms, with a solid location and value for money, but the dark, dated common areas, misleading “newly opened” vibe, and the room assignment error make it underwhelming. I wouldn’t skip Shenzhen altogether, but I’d definitely choose a different hotel next time I’m in the city. Suitable if you’re on a tight budget and prioritize location over polish.

SShiwodeyueliangSeriously unearthed a hidden gem! The environment is incredibly healing; opening the window reveals stunning views of green mountains and trees. The air is fresh, it's wonderfully quiet, and it's so relaxing to be away from the city hustle. The room was clean and tidy, decorated warmly and elegantly, and the bedding was super comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The host was very warm, easygoing, and provided thoughtful, meticulous service with great attention to detail. The surrounding scenery is absolutely breathtaking, perfect for photos. Dining and staying here were both very pleasant, and it offers excellent value for money. I'll definitely come back for my next vacation and highly recommend it to everyone!

GGuest UserSummary: I strongly discourage using this hotel unless you smoke like a chimney and enjoy the company of people lacking social etiquette. Good: Laundry Room size Bed comfort Room furniture Breakfast variety Reception service Umbrellas available Housekeeping service Shower size & hot water arrives fast Bad: No room safe No room fridge Room TV turns on with loud violin music every time guest enters Room curtains open every time guest enters, even late at night Only 1 very slow lift for guests (2nd lift malfunctional) Housekeeping occupies entire lift with trolleys of towels & linen, every day, which slows the lift even more. Robot obstructs the lift & slows it even more. ~20 minutes walk to / from the three closest metro stations (Cuizhu, Tianbei, and Tai'an) Some rooms noisy Laundry not accessible before 9am Ugly: Guests smoking everywhere, including laundry, passages, & lifts Hotel not enforcing their own no-smoking rule Room smelled of smoke Guests aggressively spitting in rubbish bins at reception and at lifts, even within sight of breakfast tables Guests openly and very loudly clearing their throats in corridors, lift, breakfast hall, and reception Guests overtly and loudly cutting finger nails in lifts & dropping residue on the floor I realise that the hotel cannot police every guest, but the complacency demonstrated by the hotel condones and encourages disturbing antisocial behaviour. There are cameras everywhere, including in the lifts, foyers, corridors, & 7 at reception. These are likely just for show and are not actively used. While the reception, housekeeping, breakfast, room, bed, and shower, are all good, the hotel's lack of underlying respect and blatant misinformation online about smoking, attracts the sort of guest with whom I do not feel comfortable. I would not want to stay at this hotel again. There are many better hotels around that cost only a small bit more. I'll happily pay a few more CNY for a smoke-free environment with good quality people.

GGuest UserThe moment I arrived at the treehouse, its appearance immediately captivated me. The dark wooden exterior with its triangular roof, gently embraced by vines and greenery, perfectly blended raw natural beauty with exquisite design details. Standing outside, I could see dappled sunlight filtering through the leaves and occasionally hear birdsong, a tranquility that made me forget the city's hustle and bustle. Stepping inside, a feeling of warmth instantly enveloped me. A large bed with crisp white linens dominated the center of the bedroom, complemented by wooden furniture and warm lighting. Two large windows and an open door seamlessly brought the lush greenery indoors. I could enjoy the forest views right from the window, and the hand-painted tree patterns on the ceiling made the entire space feel like a cozy cabin in the woods. The check-in process was also handled by very friendly and attentive front desk staff. Staying here wasn't just a simple accommodation; it was an immersive slow-living experience, a true return to nature.

LLovelyCnThe apartment is located in a quiet and developing district, which gives a sense of calm away from the city rush. Within walking distance, you’ll find a small convenience store, some coffee shops, and a couple of cafeterias. To reach most other destinations, you’ll need to take the metro or enjoy a 20-minute walk—manageable and safe for most travelers. It’s worth noting that the apartment differs somewhat from the photos in the listing. It is situated on a residential floor with long-term tenants, families, and pets, which adds a lively atmosphere but may not suit those seeking complete seclusion. The kitchen ventilation system appears to work in reverse, occasionally bringing strong cooking smells—particularly garlic—into the room. If you are sensitive to odors, you might want to request a different unit if available. Depending on the day, you may also hear low-flying airplanes passing overhead—particularly loud on several nights per week. It’s important to be aware that the noise level can be high enough to affect sleep, even with noise-canceling headphones. The apartment would benefit from some urgent maintenance: there are signs of wear such as cigarette marks on walls and floors, broken tiles, and visible damage in parts of the unit. A thorough deep-cleaning would also help enhance the overall comfort of the space. That said, the on-site staff are kind, attentive, and do their best to assist promptly. While they may be limited in what they can resolve immediately, their responsiveness is appreciated. Some larger decisions appear to be outside their control, possibly depending on the property owner’s involvement. Utility bills (electricity and water) are reasonably priced, and will likely increase your overall budget by about 10–15%. All in all, I would still recommend this apartment for travelers looking to experience a calm and modern neighborhood, especially if they value space and independence over hotel-style amenities. With a few improvements, it has the potential to become a very pleasant stay.
