Hotel Aziza Thalasso Golf

no room service after 11 pm no fresh water in the rooms when they clean your room and when you ask for something you are felt like they are doing you a favour not doing their job

This is a 3 star hotel although rated a 4 star. The complex is great, big hotel, multiple restaurants, nice big pool playing relaxing music throughout the day, entertainment team, private beach and plentiful beds on beaches and pool. There is also a spa which is very reasonably priced and has its own spa pool and packages as well as a mini golf out the front. First round of mini golf has teething issues due to it being a little unkempt but soon get used to it if you have another round and are given a putter and not a random wedge. The mini golf is included and is provided by reception. There is also a ping pong table which is included. You can also take advantage of some relaxing watersports out on a sailing boat or kayak which is also included. You can see the lovely coast and mountains, you can also see some dolphins if you're lucky. This is very good that it is included and very unique from other destinations visited. Reception staff are great, friendly and helpful whether for restaurant booking, taxi, currency change or towels. Towels are 20Dinar each for deposit so no need to pack for beach or pool and can be refreshed daily. It is very prominent in the hotel that tipping makes your stay more comfortable which is a little disappointing. Waiters will indulge those who tip and forget those that don't. This is mainly in the lobby bar and buffet restaurant. There are a few restaurants. For breakfast there is a buffet in the main restaurant, coffee is disgusting, it's not juice as you know it and all the food tastes the same. You can get fresh cooked eggs, omelette, Pancakes and croissants which made breakfast bearable. For lunch there is buffet again in the main restaurant but its tastless cold and all the same. We waited until 1430 where there is a snack bar. They call the snack bar the BBQ but there was no BBQ. But the food is served hot and to order which is far better than going to the buffet restaurant. In the snack bar the menu is the same every day and limited to pasta, pizza and sandwiches, salads, chips and ice cream. For evening you have a choice of 3 places to eat, the buffet stay clear again cold, samey and favoured if you tip, The Tunisian and International are much better restaurants and the waiters here are lovely. These restaurants do 4 big courses and changes daily. The waiters are lovely and could not do enough for you. The food is served fresh and hot unlike the buffet which is disgusting. The beach bar is great, the lobby favours people for drinks, the bar / pub is great and the moorish cafe does delicious traditional mint tea. The bar and the cafe view the football daily. Evening entertainment on every day but is limited to music and on a weekend a dancer or tunisian band which is good. But could do with having bingo or something a little more entertaining on an evening. Just returned from another amazing week here, this was my 3rd trip since November 2023 and my 4th is booked for November 2024, I dont ususally return to the same place but this place had such an impact on me I had to go back, what makes this place so special is the care and attention that all the staff from the managers to the Room cleaners, really amazing people and so lovely to return and instantly feel welcome.

We booked last minute with no expectations other than a peaceful adult only holiday. The Hotel Aziza certainly delivered both. The staff absolutely made the holiday for us - friendly, attentive and very kind. So many staff to mention all by name, but so grateful to everyone including Ben and Mohammed in the coffee & shisha shop. Whatever the staff are paid isn’t enough for how they give everyone such a great experience without being intrusive. The beach was so lovely and the beach guy was so kind and nothing was too much trouble. Beach towels are available at reception with refundable deposit. Tourist tax payable at reception on arrival. Paid using our debit card. The a la carte restaurant is definitely worth finding with lovely food and setting. Bedrooms were a little tired but clean. Slightly bigger towels would have been lovely. Sea views in bedroom were stunning. If you are looking for a holiday to recharge your batteries, have very varied meal choices, peace and quiet with an adult only hotel, then this is definitely the place for you. We are booking again for next year!!!

Just returned from a weeks holiday here. Positives: quiet hotel with friendly staff who go above and beyond . Plenty of sunbeds. Rooms are spacious and clean. A La carte restaurant available as often as you like but this may only be the case in low season. Beach felt very safe. Negatives: difficult to understand the allergens as not listed on each dish. Bed is less comfortable than a mortuary slab.

My partner and I travelled to Tunisia in March 2023 and stayed at Hotel Aziza. It was a lovely hotel that we thoroughly enjoyed staying in. The staff were lovely and very accommodating. We requested a different room to meet our needs and this was changed for us straight away. We also met a lovely animator, Houssem, he was super helpful with organising activities for us to do. He gave us lots of information and was very accommodating. A real great guy to communicate with. We have booked to go to this hotel again in April 2024 and hope to see Houssem and the lovely staff again!

Throughly enjoyed my visit out in November and am currently looking forward to returning in April. Had a great time at the hotel, lovely staff, although I missed Houssem the animation guy from my previous visits, I’m hoping maybe Houssem will be returning to the hotel this season ? He’s very helpful and was very much a hit with all the guests, all the previous times I’d stopped at the hotel. As always the weather was lovely in November, whilst it’s the end of the season leading up to the Christmas period, this I enjoy, the hotel is relaxing and I like the quiet, the other people stopping are in the same frame of mind so it’s a lovely experience. The waiting staff, the pool staff and the Resturant staff can’t do enough for you, a special thanks goes out to Samir & Tijeni (007 1/2) who always looked after me at the BBQ Resturant as well as the main Resturant. Looking forward to returning in April and then again in November. If you enjoyed an Adult only, relaxed atmosphere and lovely food, you can’t go far wrong with the Aziza.
