Fairfield Inn Muncie

Front desk staff for check in and check out were great! Very friendly. Hotel is definitely out dated. Room clean. Was on 1st floor and could hear everything outside the window and room above. Was a last minute decision to stay in area but room was definitely not worth the rate.

Our room was clean and comfortable. An extra light near the entry door would be nice, other than the light on the desk and lamp between beds. Bathroom fan was broken/noisy. Breakfast was the standard fare - Waffles, cereal, omelets, sausage, hard boiled eggs, milks and juices. However, ran out of omelets at 8:30 a.m. and employees weren't checking to refill. Front desk check in upon arrival was friendly, professional and quick. An employee was waiting at the desk, even at 11 p.m.

Had a great time. The first room we was in TV and microwave didn’t work so they upgraded our room. So in my opinion they did right by us for the inconvenience. Now the biggest issue was since they don’t have a jacuzzi they had the pool way too cold but when we asked about it they raised the temp. With no jacuzzi pools should be room temperature. But I have to say it was a good time even with the inconvenience. Price is a little high but that just matches the rest of the economy.

Staff was super friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, the place looked rather clean and maintained okay.

My bathroom counter had dust and had not been cleaned and the breakfast bar was terrible the English muffins had mold and there was no coffee and supplies every day had to ask for more

Overall, the state of this property is changing due to a brand new general manager. I saw some of the reviews, but I thought I would still give it a try. There are some hiccups, but James Graham is working on fixing everything. He’s only been there a month as of this post. Nothing in the prior guests post was a problem on this visit. There’s water everywhere I think they can and need a remodel if they want to really kick it up into the five star. The service and the staff is outstanding. I will return if in the area.

Yes, clean room, clean lobby and dining area, staff was great and no concerns of outside safety.

It was just ok.. The bed was hard, toilet had hard water build-up, toilet was low, and the tub needed updates. It was just ok!

The room was clean and not too much noise since it was right next to the road. For the price I gave it a good because it was out dated.
