Munich Ludwigsvorstadt-Isarvorstadt 3-star Hotels

From the moment we checked in until we checked out it was all great. Front desk staff were super friendly! I was actually in the lobby and one of the staff overheard me say I forgot my mask and went and got me a new one without even being asked. The room was nice and airy. Bathroom was nice and large as well. There is also an AMAZING breakfast included in the price of your room. Absolutely recommend 100%.

The hotel is definitely old but I would still recommend staying here. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom is pretty tight. The breakfast was really good. Not a huge variety but it was great to have made to order eggs with the rest of the things that were available. The service was excellent. The front desk guys helped us with everything we needed. The hotel is literally right in front of a subway stop, which makes transportation a breeze. There is also a beautiful church across the street and it's pretty delightful. The neighborhood is a bit sketchy. Walking there from the Hauptbanhof at night when we arrived was a little unnerving. Overall, a decent stay. You're not going to be staying at the newest, shiniest hotel. It's simple and adequate. If you're planning on just spending the night and just sightseeing the rest of the day, this place fits the bill.

The location is very good, just a little walk to Munich tourist spots. The room is clean and nice, but the shower booth was a little embarrassing because it was glassed right next to the bed. There is no refrigerator in the room. And I stayed for 2 nights, but I was a little embarrassed because I didn't clean it when I came in on the first day. Still, the bedding was comfortable and the room was good for three friends.

The location is in an alley opposite the train station, less than five minutes walk ～ The room is quite big and clean. Breakfast is really delicious! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! I faint The service is also very good, recommending the route and maps for us.

We had to find a hotel in Munich for 2 nights during Oktoberfest, which we did not plan to attend. Most hotels were booked even at 4 months before, and Hotel Buddy was the only one we found convenient for transport. The hotel was modern in bright yellow. The strongest strength is the location which is very conveniently in Karlsplatz with many transportation options and near to the sights. The U-bahn stop is right infront of the hotel, and also the S-bahn stop which is very convenient to go directly to the airport. However, although the hotel charged around 300 euros/night, which is understandable as all other hotels also raised their price due to the high demand, the hotel should do something that made it at least worth the price tag. Our floor was undergoing refurbishment, so we have to walk past many open rooms with construction and unclean wet floor cover. Further on, guests in opposite rooms opened their doors and were partying together. Our room was at the end and some drunken(?) guests had tried our door, mistaking it for the common bathroom. The foldable table was unable to be folded and keep on dropping down and once hurt my back. Worst of all, we just realized that the policy of the hotel is “NO HOUSEKEEPING” on the second day, luckily, we could go down to the lobby to get more clean towels as the old ones had already gone down to the floor. All of these would be acceptable should the room rate cost less than a hundred euros. Our comfort double room was a bit larger than other small room, but still very small. Long narrow sofa by the windows provided spaces to sit. The blinds had to be close as the opposite building was very close. Nespresso machine with 2 coffee and tea capsules with bland taste. Bathroom was small with few amenities, the hand soap dispenser was difficult to squeeze. A tablet in the room was for information of the hotel and sights, but was rather slow. No breakfast available on-site. But some complimentary snacks (apples, pretzels) could be grabbed from the lobby. A vending machine was also available. Staff at the lobby were quite friendly and helpful.

Great location, good water pressure and fresh and tasty breakfast. I liked that omelettes were also a paid optional, as continental breakfast can get boring every day. Walking time to Marienplatz is quick and felt very safe in the area, taking Exit C from the metro also brings you right to the front door.

First of all, for those with huge luggages, definitely not worth to walk from main train station. Stayed here during trade fair and just a few days shy from Octoberfest, prices are ridiculously high for a 3 stars hotel. However other than the small hiccup during check in, everything was excellent for this hotel. For those used to check in by staff, a little troublesome having to fill up the registration on an iPad. As there is only 1 elevator serving the hotel , it can get problematic in case of more guests but never had this issues for the 2 nights I was here. The room though small is very decent for solo business traveler with modern set up and a good working desk. The open cupboard for the clothes are just as fine. For me the pillow is good compared to those super flat pillows in other European hotels. Breakfast was to me a very good spread especially for the hot stuffs as my impression of breakfast in Europe is always cold hams and cheeses. The location is a good 15-20 mins walk to Marienplatz and I came during a nice weather other than short rain on and off

The staff at the front desk are friendly, helpful and awesome! Special mention to Sara, Mirjana and the handyman who tried to fix my broken suitcase! They all had warm smiles on their faces and made you feel so welcome! We were a group of 14 Canadians. Rooms were clean and a great buffet breakfast. Location is also excellent as its across from the train station. They also had a common room upstairs where you could get takeout and eat as a group which was great! Would highly recommend! Thank you for a great visit to Munich- we were there for 3 nights and four people were there for 5 nights.

We reserved a double room in the hotel, but the hotel room was too small for two people and the cleaning was not very good. The lighting in the room was also not good. Also, there was too much noise in the room, we could not stay comfortably. Some guests were very disturbing, they were talking and shouting too much. And they could even pass to the balconies of other rooms because the balconies of the rooms can easily be opened to the next room. This situation is extremely dangerous in terms of security. We were quite uneasy when we reported this to the reception, they were not very interested in us. The receptionists were very indifferent and disrespectful. On the first day, we wanted to park our car in the parking lot of the hotel, but there were many broken beer bottles. When we told this to reception, they said they knew, but they didn't do anything right away. We had to park our car elsewhere by paying money. The hotel breakfast is not good. Wifi access is almost impossible. As a result, we chose to stay in another hotel after one night's stay. *** Otelde iki kisilik oda rezerve ettik, ancak otel odasi iki kisi icin cok kücüktü ve temizlik cok iyi degildi. Odanin aydinlatmasi da iyi degildi. Ayrica odaya cok fazla gürültü geliyordu, rahat konaklayamadik. Bazi misafirler cok rahatsiz ediciydi, cok fazla bagirarak konusuyorlardi. Ve hatta diger odalarin balkonlarina gecebiliyorlardi, cünkü odalarin balkonlari kolaylikla yan odaya acilabiliyor. Bu durum güvenlik acisindan son derece tehlikeli. Epey tedirgin olduk, bunu resepsiyona bildirdigimizde bizimle cok ilgilenmediler. Resepsiyon görevlileri oldukca ilgisiz ve saygisiz davrandilar. Ilk gün arabamizi otelin park yerine parketmek istedik, ancak pek cok kirilmis bira sisesi vardi yerlerde. Bunu resepsiyona söyledigimizde haberlerinin oldugunu söylediler, fakat hemen bir sey yapmadilar. Arabamizi para ödeyerek baska bir yere park etmek zorunda kaldik. Otelin kahvaltisi iyi degil. Wifi erisimi neredeyse imkansiz. Sonuç olarak, bir gece kaldıktan sonra başka bir otelde kalmayı seçtik.

The location is very good, the door is Isa Gate, from which there are shops on both sides, all the way to the most prosperous center of the old city. It is my room rushing to the street, Europe is not very air-conditioned window opening is very noisy, and the self-driving can park as if 16 euros a day. Breakfast croissants are hot and delicious, coffee is for you to put a pot of solid drink
