Leonardo Boutique Hotel Munich

First, this hotel is not a Marriott, Hilton or Hyatt. It is a ”boutique” hotel that has great rooms, great bedding, nice finishes, and easy in / out. It is about a 8 minute walk from the city center. It is also close to a number of tech companies within 5 minutes walk. Loved this hotel and the daily service and look forward to staying again!

The room was well furnished, clean and large. The bathroom was very modernly furnished and also clean. Nights we could sleep well = it was no noise from inside (in the hotel) or outside. The breakfast was very rich and the staff was very premature; all wishes were met immediately. The staff at the reception was also friendly. The only criticism point is the funny big basket that stood in our room = there I ran more often in the dark at night. I don't know why he stands there (see picture) = because he is not beautiful and he does not fulfill a special purpose. I could well renounce it!

Hauptbahnhof
It's right in the center of the central station, so no matter where you go in Munich, it's a gangster location. Perhaps because it was recently renovated, the facilities were the best. In particular, there are many S-bucks and bakeries in the Jungang Station subway. Cheap and convenient access to breakfast without the inconvenience of being only 1 minute away However, the parking lot is an external parking lot. For travelers using rental cars: A bit inconvenient! But location, price and the tallest building in Munich Because it is one of the views, there is some inconvenience. I don't remember
AdvaStay by KING's

We were in Munich for 12 days and we had a fantastic stay at AdvaStay. We had stayed at the Kings hotel around the corner a few times before and were aware of the quality of their hotels and the AdvaStay did not disappoint. We like the flexibility of places that have some cooking options that means you are not tied to eating out all the time, particularly breakfast, saving time and money. Not having to be down in the breakfast room at a particular time and not having cleaning everyday made for a very relaxing stay. Our room had a stove top, which I think you need to request, plus microwave, fridge and sink and a kitchen box of equipment which was a large extra charge. I was not particularly happy for this as it was just a box of cutlery, plates and pans much of which we didn’t use but was missing bowls and glasses which we had to buy from a supermarket (ALDI and REWE a few hundred yards away). The other issue with the kitchenette was just lack of space to do anything. Apart from that, however, the room was excellent, lovely big comfortable bed and nice bathroom, TV and good WiFi. We like a bit of quiet so opted for the club room at the rear of the building with a Juliet balcony although some rooms have proper seated balconies. We were very close to the main station but could hear no traffic noise. Of course, being near the station meant that we had all transport links on our doorstep including trams 20 and 21 outside the hotel front. The station was very easy to get to and we made good use of the 9 Euro ticket so this was particularly helpful. The absence of a reception desk, staff always on hand and reliance on automation and apps may not suit everyone. We arrived at gone midnight so was a bit nervous of the automated check in and card creation but this worked well. You do have the best of both worlds though since the sister hotel across the road can help you at any time and were always very helpful and easily contactable by phone (but not by Whats App as they suggest). Although we only had cleaners in once week there is an Amenity Room in the basement accessible at any time with your card where you can get new towels, toilet rolls etc and also has a washing machine and dryer which is usable for a small charge via a phone app (which I didn’t like). There’s also an American style café next door with direct access from the hotel lobby which did great coffee and food. We’ve been to Munich many times and we both felt it was one of the best stays we have had and will be booking again probably in December for the markets.

A cozy art hotel. Everything feels very new! Room was super nice and decorated/lit well. Bathroom was more than decent. Had 24x7 coffee and water which was great. Quite close to a U Bahn station which is one hop away from the central station to access local, regional and long distance trains. Breakfast was a bit expensive.
