I cannot say enough about the location. It's close to Times Square, the theater district, and subway stations if you wish to go further. The hotel is old and dated, yes, but the location and friendly service help make up for that. The bed was not the most comfortable I've used; it was squishy and had human-sized "dents" but I slept just fine. It was very quiet, surprisingly, given where we were. Only one elevator of the two were working so we hiked the stairs a few times. I also didn't like that the bag check service did not tag the bags. We just dropped them in the room and picked them up later. That made me uneasy and I found myself checking the bags' location several times while we were out and about using Apple Find My (Air Tags in the bags). But they were there hours later, so no biggie! For the price and location, we will definitely add this to our list of Times Square hotel options and return when able.
