Great hospitality and good vibes , had a wonderful stay , asked for a late checkout and Brij was kind enough to provide it until 4 pm due to a late flight ( that was literally the best part ). Breakfast was better than expected , and the staff was very courteous. Rooms were of good size , with a balcony ( which we couldn’t use due to the hot weather). Overall while there isn’t much in the city to explore , where the hotel is the saviour

Hotel looks nice on the outside but you’ll see lots of thing waiting for you. When we arrived in the hotel we see that the people who are working at reception were nice but doesn’t give the basic information about the hotel unless you ask lots of questions. Nothing was explained. Then we switched to our room by ourselves and found out there was a bottle of water which already had been used. Thankfully the Bellboy helped us and solved the problem, we appreciate him. He is the guy who saves receptions lack of information and lack of interest. After relaxing a little we decided to have some air at the restaurant area which is the only place that has open area. But no one cares what you asked or even doesn’t bother coming and asking you as if you’d like to have something. And that’s our first 30 minutes unfortunately. We booked for 3 nights and we’ll see what’s going to happen next. Maybe it’s just our experience.

Compared to the narrow space of the hotel, the space here is simply too convenient to say that the location is super convenient and the largest mall in Oman. If you like to cook for yourself, you can buy ingredients in the Carrefour store. There is a separate parking lot at the door and there is a taxi for a long time, but the taxi must be told first. The price is strongly recommended for the whole family.

Average given the maintainance issues in the bedroom and bathroom. The chair was broken, the ironing board was broken and the light switches were behind the pillows... in the bed itself. There was also tape maintaining the shower head. The terrace was also locked with no key and it was filthy, and the power outlet on the desk was level with the desk so some plugs were unable to fit. Parts of the curtains were also left hanging where they are not intended to be and no shampoo was provided. A lot of classic aesthetic over practicality mistakes, as evidently this building complex was designed with curb appeal and the interiors are quite lavish. I appreciated the low music playing in the corridors and the array of different call and service buttons in the bedroom too. Though totally unnecessary, I also appreciated the 4 elevators and the staff seemed also to be nice enough. Overall, no problems for short stays, but I probably wouldn''t return again.

We stayed in triple room for a night here. 6 was well-sized for us, but there was literally no view. The window opened to the wall of the nearby building. There were also no slippers for the bathroom. We had to call twice and wait for nearly an hour for them to be delivered. The beds were comfy, and we had a nice night's sleep. The bathroom and the room were overall clean and well maintained. The breakfast was decent for this hotel. There were good options to cater everyone's needs. However, what happened in the breakfast room was totally indecent and inhumane. An Omani, who seemed to be the owner or manager of the hotel, physically attacked an employee and shouted bitter words at him, threatening him with his words . The employee was gentle enough not to react, but the Omani's attitude, shouting, and bad words ruined everybody's breakfast in the room.

The soundproofing was not bad and there are many people staying at low prices for a long time. For meals, it was 3omr (in my case I went to the restaurant separately in the morning) and it was good for vegetarians or small eaters. At that time, it is said that there is a change in the menu.

The Muscate Holiday Hotel was very good and especially its restaurant and buffet service. I must say the deserts were always varied and the fruit displayed in a very creative way.
