Wetzlar Resorts and Hotels

I took this hotel to meet with my two school friends from Muvattupuzha for a maximum of two hours evening time. Hotel was nearly empty. Had one of the worst experience in my life. Staff are terrible....front desk guys were worst and indifferent.. I checked in at 5pm and vacated at 7pm. Took another hotel Kabani , with much more facilities and wonderful staff and paid less money. I wanted to write more but i think it is waste of time.


We had a get-together yesterday...and my friends and family were really surprised to see such a property unexplored till now...Excellent property..Ample parking(Needs some improvement),Well furnished resort keeping the heritage style...,food was excellent..Entire staff from the General ***ager to house keeping including the security were very courteous.They are very flexible and service minded to keep the guests happy...Looking forward for ***y ***y get-togethers as well as family eating out in their well furnished restaurant.

Location. Situated on the Muvattutpuza - kolenchery road this resort, you are sure to miss unless somebody tells you orl you actually know of it before hand. The non discript signages do not help either. The signage in to the lane leading to the resort will not catch your eye unless you are looking for it. If you are not very good at driving or ***euvering your vehicle to find space to let the on coming vehicle pass then you are in for an experience. It is almost an one way Street. So hope that no other vehicles comes in the opposite direction. Call it luck, we did not encounter such a situation either while going to the resort or when coming out of it. I happened to be taken their by somebody or lunch and then realise that it was something that I should have visited before. Once you reach the resort it is a world all together different. What would strike the guest at the first instant are the fully laden nutmeg trees. Those who have not seen a nutmeg tree must make it now because it is in full Glory filled with fruits. The enormous space as one enters is much different from ***y other resort. There is something grand about it. Another interesting thing that one can get to see is the buildings made of laterite stones finished and left as it used to be in the yore. The restaurant is huge and well laid out. I did not visit any rooms or the toilets so cannot comment on the cleanliness and how well appointed the rooms are. But I must say that the table was well laid out, the cutlery was good and so was the crockery. The steward was courteous and did make sure that we were served well. The question that would immediately come to your mind is that having said so good about the restaurant; why have I given only three stars! That is because we were left to look for our table . We had to change because we first sat at the table nearest to the entrance and found it too hot and realised that the air conditioner had remained switched off. Apparently they had switched on the air conditioner only then. So even changing seats could not help much. Secondly the steward while taking order did not explain the quantities in the menu so three people ended up having to share two pieces a fish. But if one is looking for some fine dining, maybe this place could provide the answer
