Belvedere Mykonos - Main Hotel - the Leading Hotels of the World

What a gem! From the moment you walk in the door you are enveloped in wonderful Greek hospitality. Nothing is too much trouble for the fabulous team. The views are to die for, the rooms each with a lovely balcony and the tranquility is pervasive. What a wonderful place to finalise my new book!

Belvedere restaurant and bar has been one of the icons of "top level" Mykonos evening places. Used to be funny, full with a nice crowd and great ambience and drinks. This year was a total disappointment: plastic flowers, two bored ladies at the bar, no live DJ, drinks are too simple and without personal touch for the cost of 30 euro per drink. Barmen look at the book to make a proper *****ni.... Total disappointment for the high cost. Please escape from this place as many new and nice places have been open with a nice ambience and friendly and professional staff.

Save your time and money and do not stay at this hotel. We stayed during the last weekend before the hotel closed for the weekend, and it was very obvious. The staff was cold and not accommodating. They were in shutting down process, and they were not shy about making that known. The pool area was being closed off the last day we were there. I felt unwelcome and like we were intruding. We booked a room with a jacuzzi and found the first night that the jacuzzi was not working/was not getting warm. We called hotel staff who said they would need to look into it the next day. We didn’t hear from anyone the next day and had to follow up in the early evening, which is when they informed us the jacuzzi could not be fixed and we would need to move to another room. They were not apologetic and instead acted like it was a nuisance. We moved to another room and asked to be compensated for not being able to use the jacuzzi we paid for the night before. The woman said she would need to check with management, but did not sound assuring. The next evening, someone called at 5:15 saying they could offer a complimentary massage at 6:00 (45 minute notice!) We could not manage that on such short notice. We again mentioned the jacuzzi situation during checkout and asked for a discount on the room for that night. The woman at the front desk made a phone call and then said the hotel would compensate us with 10% off our booking price when we come back next summer. We could not help but laugh at this. We eventually settled and received 30% off the room for that night, but the entire process left a horrible taste in our mouths. We felt like we were getting hussled from the minute we walked into the hotel. We will never return.

This place was a disappointment. Not very hospitable! The upgrade room was horrible! .., and that’s with Amx and members of leading Hotels of the World. This place is not suitable for being part of the LHOTW. Asking for a late check out was not pleasant! After staying at Bill and Coo, Awful continental breakfast! Sorry to have moved from Bill & Coo!!!! Never coming back to this hotel again!

We had great time and 9ne of the best stays of our life! Thanks for the great staff for pampering us from the moment we entered the property to the one we left to next island.

It has been an amazing and unforgettable experience for my wife and I! The Belvedere staff really surprised us with an amazing room upgrade to Mr Nobu's private pool suite to celebrate our Anniversary! One of our best hotel experiences we have ever had. Thank you very much for everything Helen, Pivos and Lena (sorry if misspelled the names), you are amazing!

The staff at this hotel was amazing, accommodating, and helpful. However, for the price tag, this hotel lacked ambiance. There was also no hot water which was very uncomfortable to shower in. To pay the price for a Villa and have no hot showers was a huge disappointment. There were also other minor things wrong with the room, such as the safe being damaged and unusable. I would stay somewhere else in Mykonos next time!

I walked in to the hotel to try their breakfast. Was shown to a nice table next to the pool a s service went down hill from there. Ordered a Greek coffee and omelette. The coffee came after 15 mins and after waiting for another 25 mins my omelette was nowhere in sight. Asked the waitress and she said she will check but it didn't come. Guests who came much later than I did got their orders abd I was the only one who didn't get the food. Finally gave up and left. Left some feedback to one of the waitress about the experience. The staff didn't show much initiative to rectify the issue and it was certainly not a 5 star experience un a supposedly 5 star hotel. Staff had to undergo more training to warrant the status.

The positive is that the hotel is very nicely located with walking distance to everything in Mykonos town. The small pool area is beautiful with pink flowers and is well maintained. Beautiful breakfast area and bar. Very small and pittoresque. However to the rest…When you pay over 1100 euros a night you kinda expect to get good quality and high standard. Not in this case… the rooms were super small, dark and to be honest pretty bad with cheap furniture and a wardrobe that couldn’t “stay opened” because it was wrongly put together. A bit annoying. We complained about the room and the guy in the recepetion showed us other rooms to change to, just as small or facing a wall… and that would be for an additional cost. No thanks! When checking out (earlier than planned since we were so disappointed) I forgot my charger in the room I spoke to Pavlos in the reception refused to give it back to us with the response “allow me to inform you for the second time we do not have your charger” with a very irritated and rude tone, but when we went there we it was finally given to us by another of his colleagues.. The breakfast (which they also charged extra for) was not good. Inattentive staff, just a pile of carbs and bread that didn’t look very tempting and the à la carte not very good to be honest. A bit more healthy options and variety would have been appreciated. This hotel would have been ok for a 4 star but def not 5 stars.
