The hotel's location is remote, so it's best to drive. Many locals use the bathhouse and the accompanying hot spring facilities, so hygiene can be a bit lacking. This was also the first time I'd encountered a hotel with coin-operated lockers. Tea was provided after the hot springs, but all other amenities required payment. The hotel room was spacious, with a lovely view of snow-capped mountains and cherry blossoms. The bathroom had a separate bathtub, but it was a bit inconvenient to use.
