Jal Mahal is located on the outskirts of Mysore but not too far from any of the attractions. They have started to charge a hefty 5,000/- if you use DSLR to take pics inside the resort. That's a bummer when you get to stay in a resort and not capture pics from your camera. Service is excellent and the staff is really supportive, quick and helpful. The rooms are not spacious enough but sufficient enough for a couple to enjoy their stay. The resort is good for a small peaceful walk, it has a good ambiance and I love it. This is the second time I am staying here in the last 3 years.

This review is based on my one-day stay at the property. Though I didn’t get to explore all the aspects at length, it was a not-so-pleasant experience. The rooms are nicely spread but it gets over as soon as you enter into it. Extremely small rooms, provided with a small table, which is filled with chargeable-chips/dry-fruits, you have to struggle to even keep your phone/key. Charging the phone is such an affair, as there is no table near the electrical points. There is no towel in the room, imagine!! Tea in the restaurant is pathetic. If you are in look for stopover at Mysore as part of your long trips, it can be considered but in that case you can opt for properties which are close to city centre and at more affordable prices.

The serene and picturesque surroundings of the resort made it a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of city life.The staff's hospitality was exceptional, and they went out of their way to ensure our stay was comfortable and memorable.

All Good , nice stay !! Good & Courteously Staff, nice property 2 small let downs I would suggest -- 1. Bathroom doors should hav mats to avoide room floor getting wet(even though we did not ask for it) 2. Face towels should also be give Good part was front office was keen enough to note this points while checking out .

We had a pleasant stay in Jal Mahal. Family of 13 folks visited the resort this weekend. Location was good, ambience was excellent. Staff were so courteous and friendly. Pool boy was so helpful, missed boring his name. Breakfast spread was good. Lunch and Dinner was very tasty. More than anything prices were really reasonable. Indoor and outdoor games were interesting. Definitely must visit resort for a peaceful stay.

Our experience fell short of our expectations during our 5-day stay. In the initial 2 days, we encountered a few issues. Firstly, the breakfast was not served hot, which was disappointing. Additionally, when we informed the reception about our preference for an eggless cake to celebrate a birthday, they mistakenly provided us with a cake containing eggs. Moreover, there was a lack of South Indian dishes on the lunch and dinner menus, which made it less suitable for kids. Furthermore, the swimming pool lacked facilities for children, and the service from the staff was notably slow. It's important to highlight that this property is more suitable for short one-day weekend stays.

Hi friends I REQUEST NOT TO VISIT THIS PLACE SERVICE IS PATETIC WELL FIRST ON postive note .. food was good🤤 But never served even after 30 mins and we were only two guest in entire hotel last nyt (only two cars no bikes in whole parking lot 🤫)if it were to be crowded its fine Its surprising that the hotel staff was very rude says we need to wait🤫 and to find The cordial and warmth should use magnifying glass may be have to wait as asked by the waiter😉 we finished our drink with almost recving our order at the last sip....and the funniest part 😆😆😆👉 I WANTED TO COMPLAIN AND was told supervisor was not available and the waiter mentioned GM OF THE HOTEL WAS SITTING IN JUST OPP TABLE AND guys this is the fun he didnot care to address the situation wonder how the ***agement can AFFORDE to hier such lame irresponsible people to such a post ??🥺🙄 Driving all the way 20 kms AND CARRYING a night mare MEMORY CAN BE MY ILL FATE 🤷♂️🤦♂️ Think twice if ever u want to visit this place with family and friends

Wonderful stay, as always!!!! I visit Jal Mahal so ***y times, that I have just lost count. I know the staff by name now. I have never found a better friendlier, scenic, pet friendly, family friendly, couple friendly ( pocket friendly too) hotel than this. We have visited before with our pets, and this time, with elderly people. Right from the security guard to reception, to the busboy, we felt very welcome. I can never forget the fact that the staff went out of their way to give my daughter hot chocolate milk, in the middle of the night because her throat wasn't feeling great. Ask for Chef Vinod particularly, if you want any specific delicacy.. even if it's for your furry companion! It's a wonderful hotel, resort, restaurant, homestay, home, everything combined together into one. Special thanks to Mrs. Deepa. We will visit you soon!

The resort is well maintained and everyone is courteous. Facilities are good. Food is tasty and hygienic. The room we chose is quite spacious. The teamwork is very customer friendly. GM of the resort is effective. On the whole good stay.
