Radisson Blu Hotel N'Djamena

Having previously stayed here last year, I find myself back at this remarkable hotel for the second time. The hotel staff continue to amaze me, especially the front desk team. A special mention goes to GONDJE Estelle, who fluently communicates in English despite being in a predominantly French-speaking country. The comfortable beds and consistently stable internet connectivity enhance the overall experience. And let’s not forget the restaurant, where sumptuous local and international cuisines await. Whether you’re here for business or pleasure, I wholeheartedly recommend this establishment.

One star may seem a bit harsh, but I am judging the hotel based on what one would expect from a hotel in this category. First communication by email is abysmal. Response rate is low and does not lead to solutions. No-one seems to care enough to take care of you and solve your requests. The lack of ownership and customer-friendliness is appalling. Requiring upfront payment is not the practice in world-class hotels and frankly insulting, especially when the payment was done by my company by wire but the front-desk person does not know how to check. they are incapable of crediting the points to your fidelity account, first they claimed they had not yet accounted for the payment, then they claimed it was due to a software issue. It just creates mistrust when the story changes and it does not reflect well on their professionalism. The restaurant is frankly sub-par with what you can get in town, for example the grilled fish is less tasty, more greasy, smaller and much more expensive. Frankly not worth it. Overall quite a disappointment for a Radisson Blu. (and I am a premium member)

Good hotel, but not a five stars hotel. Breakfast is good but staff not very friendly. Rooms are spacious but a little bit dark. Internet is working with a code. They change it sometimes but no one tell you that you have to get another one. AC is working well but not too strong.

As always Radisson never disappoints,.....Room was large with good views of the Lake Chad. staff were helpful and speak very good engish....their breakfast was exceptional; variety of fruits, cereals, pastries etc... however, the location is far from anything interesting (can be boring within the hotel) but would definitely stay here next time I am in Ndjamena!

I enjoyed my stay in Radisson, I can't list all the positive things i experienced, but i will tell you for sure, the service is getting better. I appreciate a lot the efforts provided by the whole team. Many Thanks!

Bad value for money and no one to come pick me up from the airport even though it had been requested and confirmed. They refused to pay me back after I had to take another taxi due to their bad internal communication. Would not recommend

My stay in this establishment was at the top. the staff are wonderful. the food is superb. The internet is good. The shower in my room is very clean, as is the entrance and the reception hall. I recommend this hotel.

A nice hotel and well positioned. My room is very big. The shower is clean. The staff is welcoming. The price of food, room is good.Great service. I had a very nice stay at this property. I will stay here again.

Apart from the serious rat infestation problem, the hotel is OK but certainly not up the the level one would expect from a Radisson Blu hotel. I am suprised it still has the franchise. The breakfast area smells of frying oil because the warm breakfast is prepared in the middle of the breakfast room without ventilation. Luckily the hotel has a large pool which is good for the daily workout swim. The gym is located in another building and it is depressing. The overall hotel location is nice, overlooking the Chari river. The staff are nice and trying to do their best, but the overall result is certainly not a 5-star hotel.
