Chisun Grand Nagano

Our family had a great stay. Booked 4Ns with buffet breakfast. Very good japanese breakfast(see pic). 24hr UCC coffee available with pastries and sake tasting(limited time period), all free! Personal amenities items were also very good quality (DHC) and even the shower amenities (Pola). Hotel service is very efficient. Check in and out process were both smooth and fast. There's laundry area and microwave.

The staffs are very polite and helpful. What I like most is the breakfast. There are variety of dishes, and I really love the sukiyaki beef with onsen egg. But be careful with the breakfast time the latest to enter the breakfast room is 9:00am not 9:30.

The hotel is better than I expected. The location is near Nagano central station by just 5-7 mins walk. The hotel also provides a private car park service for 1,200 jpy per day. The room is spacious and the bathroom is also. Room amenities can be grabbed at the lobby. The hotel uses DHC products which are good. I asked a hotel staff to book a restaurant for me which was successful. The hotel has an English fluent staff who communicates really well. Thank you again for the service!

Place was actually sufficiently big for 2. Very clean and also conveniently located

The hotel is located about 10-15mins walk from Nagano station and is easily navigated using google map. Hotel provide luggage forwarding service and luggage deposit after checkout. Amenities are not provided in the room but upon check in, hotel staff will inform you to pick what you need from the area at the hotel lobby. It can also be picked up at anytime of the day. The lobby also have a coffee machine serving hot chocolate and coffee throughout the day. Pastry are provided at certain hour as well. One time free Sake tasting per guest where you need to pick up special coin from the hotel staff. Rooms are clean and quite spacious.

Decent sized room for 2 pax without feeling too cramped. Location is less than 10min walk away from JR Nagano station. Though is next to train tracks, the sound insulation is very good that you dont hear any trains passing by. Front desk service is very friendly and approachable.

Nice hotel. Had an enjoyable stay. Paid for room upgrade for 2000 yen per night, it was worth it. A lot of restaurants are within walkable distance. Enjoyed the free sake tasting provided daily by the hotel and the chocolate muffin was yummy. Sadly, we missed the free bread.
