Hotel Wing Port Nagasaki
9.1 (448 reviews)

Hotel Wing Port Nagasaki ★★★

📍 9-2 Daikokumachi, Nagasaki City

"The hotel is located diagonally across from Nagasaki JR Station. After crossing the pedestrian bridge, passing Family Mart, and turning into a small alley, you'll find it. It's very close to the Hotel New Nagasaki that we booked for the next day. Right under the pedestrian bridge are bus and tram stops, making it very convenient to get to city attractions; we visited the Atomic Bomb Hypocenter the same day. The room, however, was quite small. Opening two suitcases was a real struggle. Our window faced the alley downstairs, and on the second day, we could smell someone smoking from below (we were on the fifth floor, I think). The bathroom was one of those modular, all-in-one units with a step up from the room floor, which you had to be careful with – not very senior-friendly. Toiletries were available for self-service and were from Fancl, which was a nice touch. But for the price, you really can't complain too much, can you?"

"Nestled right opposite a shopping arcade and within minutes walk from the City Tram, this capsule hotel is clean and comfortable! You can rent a humidifier from the front reception, and there is also a hot bath where you can relax after a days walk! Right behind the hotel is Chinatown, and there is a 7-11 too! Will stay here again when I come back to Nagasaki. Highly recommended as it's value for money!"

S Peria Hotel Nagasaki Hotels in Nagasaki City

S Peria Hotel Nagasaki

"I stayed at this hotel for two nights. Every staff member was very friendly and provided a wide range of toiletries, drip coffee, and tea. There was also a capsule coffee machine in the room, and tokens were provided for free drinks on the first floor. Daily housekeeping was provided, and the place was very clean. The breakfast was a traditional Japanese breakfast, which was delicious, and there were also local specialties. There were surprises at every turn. I highly recommend this hotel."

APA Hotel (Nagasaki Ekiminami) Hotels in Nagasaki City

APA Hotel (Nagasaki Ekiminami)

"I occasionally stay at APA hotels around the country, but this is the lowest level I've ever stayed at. Perhaps because it's old, the room is dirty, the seats of the chairs provided are a little torn, and there are noticeable stains, which is unpleasant. Because it faces a main road, the sound of cars is so loud until late at night that it seems like it could do with a little more soundproofing. Inside the room, the refrigerator and air conditioning are loud, and if you don't turn them off, the noise is so loud that it's annoying. The cleaning staff talk loudly in the hallway from early in the morning, which is unpleasant. It's 5,800 yen with breakfast included, so it's not particularly cheap for an APA hotel, and the rice at breakfast is soft and not great! Other free Wi-Fi and amenities were the same as other hotels."

Nagasaki Bus Terminal Hotel Hotels in Nagasaki City

Nagasaki Bus Terminal Hotel

"It offers good value for money, and the airport bus stop is right across from the hotel, making it extremely convenient to get from the airport. However, the long-distance bus from Nagasaki to Kumamoto is located near the train station, about a 20-minute walk away. The staff were very helpful and responsive."

Hostel Casa Noda Hotels in Nagasaki City

Hostel Casa Noda

"It was very clean. There were some foreign tourists who didn't even say hello or bow, which I thought was normal, but it turns out they were actually staff. I thought it would be nice if the staff at least said hello, but the physical facilities were fine."

Nisshokan Bettei Koyotei Hotels in Nagasaki City

Nisshokan Bettei Koyotei

"Located high on a hill east of downtown, with spectacular panoramic views of the city and harbour. Parking is available onsite and managed well. Room clean, spacious and well maintained. Room includes a tatami area fitted out in traditional style. Western and futon bed options available. The room also includes a wooden sunken-floor hot spa bath, as well as a shower area. Fridge, kettle and a wide array of in-room accessories are included. Staff professional and very helpful. Front office staff speak some English, with translation apps available when needed. Breakfast is traditional Japanese and high quality. The hotel has a traditional communal hot spring bath about 4m x 4m x 0.5m big enough to fit about 10 adults, but mostly uninhabited when I visited. Yukata and slippers are included in the room for moving to and from the bath. A larger communal bath is located in the adjacent hotel, accessed by a covered corridor. The main limitations of this hotel are the absence of a lift and the location near the top of a high hill at the end of a long narrow road. These are mitigated by only 3 floors and helpful staff keen to carry luggage etc. and an hourly curtesy bus between the hotel and the railway station downtown. I rate this hotel very highly. I haven’t enjoyed a hotel stay as much as this for quite some time."

Hotel Wing Port Nagasaki ★★★
"Right next to Nagasaki Station. Although the price is cheap, the environment is very good and clean. Especially on the 8th floor, there's a microwave and vending machines. The front desk has a Japanese lady who speaks Chinese, and another person who might be Chinese-born? Both are very kind and friendly."

Casa Blanca Guesthouse ★★
"I stayed here for one night with my daughter. It's very convenient as it's close to Chinatown and a large shopping street. The air conditioning was a little noisy, but I fell asleep without realizing it. The shower room and sink were clean. The toilet was also clean and had a bidet. Breakfast is toast and tea (coffee, black tea, or Japanese tea), but there's a 7-Eleven across the street, and the shopping street has cafes, Komeda Coffee, and McDonald's. It's a guesthouse where a woman can stay alone with peace of mind. I would like to use it again if I ever go to Nagasaki city."

Dormy Inn PREMIUM Nagasaki Ekimae ★★★★
"I recently stayed at Dormy Inn PREMIUM Nagasaki Ekimae, and it was a wonderful experience. The hotel’s location is incredibly convenient, being just a short walk from the station, which made exploring Nagasaki very easy. The room was clean, functional, and well-designed. However, the absolute highlight for me was the natural hot spring on the top floor—it was the perfect way to relax after a long day of sightseeing. I also truly enjoyed the complimentary "Yonaki Soba" (night ramen) provided by the hotel; it’s such a thoughtful and delicious touch that really sets Dormy Inn apart. The staff were professional and welcoming throughout my stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Nagasaki and would definitely choose to stay here again."
