A lovely Ryokan in a quiet residential area of Nagoya. Sweet couple running the place. Clean and comfortable room. I would stay again!

As a female solo traveler, I wanted a safe yet authentic Ryokan experience in the city center. This was it! A very nice older couple, a very very clean place. Right next door there is a traditional public indoor bath, which adds more flavor to the experience. Yes, the facilities are a bit old, but I felt clean & the things I need are all there. But yea, gotta keep it super quiet, you can hear ppl going up & downstair, etc, also I booked the room had to share the toilet. I think it's a good location because it's close to the big shrine I wanted to check out, and also a direct fast train nearby to the airport. For dinner options, recommend this cool old town style place also very nearby, Kanayama Komachi.

It is a bit far from the subway and bus. You have to wait for a taxi.

Communicating with translation software is not smooth. It is recommended that you can at least communicate in Japanese.

The retro atmosphere reminded me of the times I stayed there as a child on a family trip, so it was nice to be reminded of the past.

A Japanese-style inn run by an elderly couple who don't speak English very well but try their best to help. Although the bathroom is shared, it is very clean. When I left, they gave me a hand-made paper crane.

一對非常親切的老夫婦所經營。 每天會進入房間做清掃（*會介意的可能要溝通一下） 最後一天退房後爺爺開車帶我們去車站搭車，他還特別打上領帶，真的好可愛。 非常推薦來名古屋的朋友住這邊，搭公車就可以到市區了。 以下為第一次入住的人需要注意的事情： 1. 由於旅館只有爺爺奶奶兩個人，所以會有門禁，00:00到隔天06:30（早上時間不確定）不能進出。 2. 公共浴室有大澡池可泡澡，可多人一起洗（不確定會不會有不認識的人一起洗）

老爺爺老奶奶很和藹， 我是獨自旅行，語言不通，但老爺爺老奶奶很耐心聽我英文解釋，老奶奶會一點英語幫助很大，請注意晚上0點前要回家。
