Because it is not possible to rent a car and travel by car in Okinawa, I booked this hotel for the convenience of transportation. There is a subway and bus center across the road, and it is within walking distance to Kokusai Street. The hotel room is relatively large, and you will get a lounge coupon when you check in, where you can have a free drink every day. I really like this service. After shopping every day, I take a shower and go to the lounge to order a drink. The night view of the bay is very beautiful. The breakfast at the hotel was also very rich. I originally booked for 3 nights, but wanted to stay at the beach for the last night, so I renewed the reservation for another night because the stay was very comfortable.

The stay at Southwest Grand Hotel was very comfortable. The staff 々 was very kind and always smiled from check-in to check-out. I booked in a standard room but the room was very spacious and clean as 々 and I was able to relax slowly. It was a luxurious experience with a pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and a mini bar that was fully equipped with guests' exclusive pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and lounge and rooms for free. Definitely Naha is the number １ hotel. I will definitely go again. it's recommended!

I have stayed many deluxe hotels in downtown Naha area, but this is by far the best hotel for following reasons; 1. Quality of room Descent space (much larger than typical Japanese standard). Good amenity including bathrobes, FREE minibar (beer, Japanese tea, bottled water etc.). Hotel is new; opened in 2020 and cleanness of room is excellent. Soundproof excellent. Toilet and bathtub is well separated and spacious. 2. Facilities Gym + Outside pool available. Only hotel in Kokusai-Dodri area which has such nice amenities. 3. Location Located in central Naha area (Kokusai Dori) with everything within walking distance ( Don Quixote, Starbucks etc.). No other hotel can beat this location!! I would highly recommend this hotel to travelers looking for comfortable stay in downtown Naha.

For a Japanese hotel, the rooms are spacious and clean. I arrived half an hour before the checkin time as I had activities to follow, the front desk staff was really nice and found me and my family two cleaned up rooms and allowed me to check in a little ahead of time, this really helped us a lot. The hotel also gave us two welcome drinks per room at the bar on the top floor, which had a really nice view of Naha. The valet staff are also very considerate and got our car prepared at the times that I requested with no waiting. The breakfast was decent with ample supply. Overall I’m very satisfied with my stay and would certainly re-visit when I go to Naha next time.

I have been to Naha once every three months since I got a diving license in Naha. I was often one of them, and at first I chose a place with a large bath, but this time, I was a surprise price for Naha and Okinawa outside the prefecture. Matsuyama is a small version of Kabuki town in Tokyo, but it is a cheap steak shop and restaurant, and I am a woman, so I return to the hotel at 20 o'clock, but it is a good hotel that can be convinced by my uncle who likes to play at night. Especially this time, it is a single woman traveling single, so the hotel side also took care of it, and chose a good high floor because of the view. It was a plan to receive women's amenities. The building seems to be never new, but the room is clean, large, and the corona fin is equipped with a safe air cleaner and sterilization liquid in the room, and the front desk staff is polite and I was able to stay with peace of mind. The unit bus I was worried about and the bathtub was wide and I was soaked in hot water slowly. Anyway, the information that is clean is important for women. Well, 〜 I brought it from the front desk without a disposable slipper, but it seems to be really prepared, so in this corona, the usual slipper is privately filthy and cannot be used. It seems that it corresponds to the woman's eye in that point, and I was able to spend calmly on the last night of Naha. The renovated Fuzhou Garden that I wanted to go was also close and safely went out. I will come to stay again! By the way, this site has been writing honest opinions properly since before, so it is a long sentence, but thank you for posting me. I also post 4 travels in Natsuko's expedition.

Old but very tidy, the front desk looks good, where is the main price, a woman also sent a gift happy, and a phone, this price and the phone is great! Love! This hotel is legal in Okinawa Drink Street, in Japan, it has no impact on me, it is quiet and clean service! It's great without a large number of tour groups, basically business travel, much happier than a bunch of tour groups!

It was still new, so the overall cleanliness was good and the service was good. I booked a twin this time, but I was grading it to triple. After researching thoroughly for our anniversary/babymoon, we were happy this hotel was close to the bus terminal as well as downtown area with all the restaurants (roughly 15-20 mins). Hotel also came with detergent (for a fee) to use in their washer/dryer. Now the downside - this hotel can't possibly be a 4 star hotel, DO NOT fall for it. The hotel lobby is dated as is the room. We booked a double room/suite that's supposed to come with a double bed and view. Instead, we got a room with sofa and 2 twin beds facing a hotel with a smiley face and the sea somewhere in the back. So for the first night since it was late, we squeezed into 1 bed. On the second day, I went to the front and told them what we had booked and asked if they can change our room because I had paid a higher rate. What ended up happening is they pushed the 2 beds together and Voila! Now we get a ”double bed” with a crack in the middle. Luckily we only had 2 nights of this left, my poor husband slept in the crack of this hard AF bed. The bed was old and excruciatingly painful. My husband couldn't believe how hard the bed was! We contemplated sleeping on the floor if it wasn't so dirty and we had thicker blankets. Imagine being 25 weeks pregnant and having to sleep on your side on such a hard bed - my back, hips and shoulders were sore for days after leaving Okinawa. I thought the pain was from being pregnant until it resolved as we continued our trip and ended up in a different hotel. I have never slept on such a hard bed - and I've slept in hostels, shared beds with multiple friends, and had slept on cracks numerous times during my travel. By far, this has been THE WORST experience. I've also been more comfortable on a motel 6 bed. So do yourself a favor. Don't stay here unless it's cheaper than any 1 star hotel you see around. It'll likely be a more comfortable stay for much cheaper.

Booked this hotel due to its proximity to the airport for our early morning flight back home. Yes the hotel is dated but we were blown away by the warmth and sincerity of the staff. Our wifi failed to work in the room originally assigned to us and we were given an upgraded room with sorted all that out. The breakfast is vast and delicious, not what I would expect for its tariff. What also impressed us was how the reception assisted us with the booking of our cab to the airport the night before and that the driver was already waiting outside the lobby the next morning. As this is our wedding anniversary trip with our baby, the hotel also left us lovely cookies and a note to commemorate the event. We stayed at some beautiful resorts up north okinawa but none offered this level of service we received at Smile City. Thank you for wrapping up our anniversary with so much warmth and care!

It is about 10 minutes walk from Yui Rail Mieibashi Station. Because it is in the so-called drinking street, the person who is worried about the brother of the call at night may be worried. 6 km / 15 min / 1470 yen by taxi from the airport. Although Naha itself is very built up so kind of just like any other nondescript Japanese city albeit with interesting vegetation, it's a convenient location with lots of food options. The condo itself is right next to a Shell gas station with an adjacent Family Mart. There are 3 apartments per floor at this rather new-looking 10-storey building and the reception is downstairs from 9 am -7 pm plus a number to call outside these hours, very courteous with badly translated English instructions. We stayed 10 nights and room was scheduled to be cleaned every 3 days. Room key also opens the door to trash/recycle area outside. Basically you get a 30 m2 studio apartment with a spacious balcony where you can see the ferry terminal and a bit of the ocean & a small dining space plus all the amenities, new and spotlessly clean with a washer/dryer & shower/bath tub. Everything you can probably think of is provided, including cooking utensils & a separate washlet toilet - even Netflix on TV! AC & WIFI work well although you can also get a SIM card at the airport vending machine to help you navigate the small streets with Google Maps: 4000 yen for 10 days unlimited data or 3500 yen for 1.2 GB over 30 days. Our double bed was comfy but quite narrow, barely any movement possible for 2 adults - manageable for us but definitely think twice if you're a bigger couple or maybe consider twin beds. Very quiet inside. Less than 15 minutes to walk to Kokusaidori 国際通り shopping street with loads of shops (24-hour Don Quijote + drugstores) & restaurants but also plenty of enticing eateries within a short walk from the condo スマートコンド泊. Naha Main Place mall サンエー那覇メインブレイス , which has Cinemas Q & Tokyu Hands + LUPICIA tea, is under 20 minutes on foot. Closest beach might be Naminoue Beach, 25 minutes on foot. It's just a 5-minute walk to Tomari Port ferry terminal とまりん where you can get to the Kerama Islands in 50 minutes (Zamami highly recommend) or Tokashiki Island in 35 minutes - best check JMA website for potential high wave warnings. About 10 minutes to walk to Miebashi monorail station to the airport or Shuri Castle. This condo is best if you're planning day trips to the surrounding islands and don't mind walking a bit to the main shopping areas. Buses are fairly convenient with stops written out in romaji/English. 40 minutes / 600-650 yen by bus to American Village from the port - lots of buses go by the stop out front. Chinese Didi app works for taxis too (70 yen per 365 m plus 560 yen for the initial 1.75 km; can pay by cash if no Chinese ID). If you are not driving, there's a Hip Hop Bus / Jumbo Tour office (M-F 9-6 or book online) 10 minutes away where you can book daytrips for under 6000 yen & the closest pickup spot is 'Okinawa Kariyushi Urban Resort Naha' 沖縄かりゆしアーバンリゾート・ナハ next to Tomarin, basically the same building, but pickup is actually closer to the park.

The staff is very kind. I opened the door. The staff already knows my name and how to check out. The staff also explained clearly.
