Very peaceful location and staff was very helpful. It is the only property with vast open areas. We went with friends and stayed at the property only. They had enough sports to let the people enjoy. Perfect place for a family or friends and even for a large gathering since they have 10 villas

I was travelling with family, my parents are super senior citizens, mother completely on wheelchair and father barely walks with support. We made a plan for trip after Covid. It came out as a horrible trip as this property is not wheelchair accessible, forget about stairs, you have to literally park out side road and climb the complete complex. We always talk to owner and property team before booking, which we did here too. Owner Anand told us that it’s a wheelchair friendly property. We made booking via MakeMyTrip with zero cancellation. 2 days before travel, someone from Bombay team name pranjal called and said that they are cancelling the booking as booking price have increased. At the eleventh hour, we were unable to find any property so he said book directly from us with entire amount. No matter what the entire staff was not ready for partial payment which trigger a doubt. So I still booked it via MakeMyTrip again with increased price. Now while we were about to reach the property, we called to prepare our rooms. Caretaker Lalit told that there is no booking with our name, as he gets order from Bombay team. He again asked that he can send a scanner and we can book directly from them with entire amount. This raise my doubt more. We reached the property and find out that my parents no way can reach to the rooms as it’s a hill top with big stairs where normal person has to make efforts. I called Lalit he disconnected phone call. After 15-20 minutes he came and started talking rudely. He said all he can do is offer some help to pick wheelchair and we all have to pick our parents with wheelchair and climb. It was a complete shock to me. In short, this property is run the some crooks. They gonna try to book this directly with you by hook or by crook. The only good thing I did that I did not pay directly. I got my refund from MakeMyTrip. We had to search for new property which took 2 hours and lots of pain.

Our trip to Emearld Trail was amazing..highly recommended if you are planning to spend time in the heart of nature ..staff was polite n helpful...food was great n delicious..

Excellent location with breathtaking views. Booked 4bhk villa for my family visit & it was worth every bit. Very helpful staff led by their manager Mr Lalit added comfort to our stay. Food served was fresh & tasty. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED if you enjoy nature & get away from city hustle.

This is some shady B&B. Keep on calling us directly for the booking from Bombay. They try to convince us to book directly. Ultimately I had to cancel the travel.

Sharing my experience so that no one else suffers like we did. 1. Shady Cancellation Games: Agent from property called a day before MMT booking confirmation, citing “unreasonable” MMT discounts and pushed for direct booking. After we didn’t confirm, MMT rates jumped from ~₹56,000 to ₹76,000, leaving us stucked. 2. False Wheelchair-Friendly Claims: Booked via MakeMyTrip for 3 days, relying on the owner’s confirmation and website claiming wheelchair accessibility. Reality: Narrow entrance with ~10 stairs, completely inaccessible for my wheelchair-bound mother-in-law. 3. Greedy Payment Demands: Offered direct booking at ₹54,000 (just ₹2,000 less than MMT) but demanded 100% advance payment. Refused 1- or 2-day bookings, insisting on 3 nights with full upfront payment. 4. Last-Minute Cancellation: left with no other options, we booked 1 night via MMT, but the property is to cancel again before arrival. Caretaker ( Lalit) demanded full 3-night payment to secure the room, raising red flags. and threatened to bar entry without advance payment. Post we reached it was a nightmare. No parking, no wheelchair. Thank goodness we didn't make the advance payment. But this property should be de-listed from all platforms.

My friend and I had a wonderful stay at Emerald Trail. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. Mr. Lalit and Mr. Prakash went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The home-cooked food was absolutely delicious — fresh, flavorful, and comforting. The property is beautiful, spacious, and very well-maintained, offering peace and quiet in a natural setting. If you’re looking for a warm, homely experience in Bhimtal with great hospitality and clean surroundings, I highly recommend Emerald Trail. We’re grateful for the care and attention we received!

This place is my piece of heaven on earth , I visit every year with my pets and experience is always amazing . There is not a thing I would like to change about this place , the stuff Deepa and Prakash are so warm and always ready to help you , food is so comforting that I look forward to every meal and you get to have anything you wish throughout day .Its a place you won’t visit just once as u fall in love with every little details there from rabbits chickens to apricot,plum,peach trees. Your furry friends have ample free lawns to run around , you can go for long walks with them nearby it’s so safe and beautiful .
