The staff in this beautiful hotel is friendly, welcoming and helpful. The ambience is very tropical- relaxed and casual. The walls are adorned with African textiles, traditional implements, weapons etc. Rooms are luxurious and all the public areas are comfortable and tastefully presented. There is a large pool, excellent gym (I’m told), and the massages are well worth it.  A jewel in a large busy city

Beautiful hotel encased by a wall to block out the questionable neighborhood where it was not safe to walk, darn!  Very good service, upscale hotel sleeping rooms, excellent service for dinner on the pool patio next to the beautiful pool.  About 25 minutes from the airport, gorgeous decor and lounge.  It seems like it would be a good location to visit just a couple of other places in the city but we were transiting to a safari so rested here easily.  I'd stay here again.

Serena a hotel is well situated within Nairobi,. The rooms a well  maintained, clean, and extremely comfortable. The staff were very helpful and willing to make our  stay enjoyable. The breakfast was good with a variety of food including delicious fresh fruit each day. As a family we really enjoyed our stay at Serena and always felt safe within the hotel compound.
