"My first stay in Kouri Island. In one word, it was the best. I was a little surprised at the way to arrive, but the view from the hotel room and rooftop was so beautiful that it took my breath away. The room was just as cute and clean as the pictures, and the jacuzzi overlooking the Kouri Bridge was amazing. It was just the right distance for a walk to Kouri Beach. The owner was very kind and took a photo for me on the rooftop. I would like to use it again."

"Located in the north, it's only accessible by car. The location is quiet, with the beach just a minute's walk away. The room is spacious, has a jacuzzi, and offers a beautiful view of the ocean. The staff are attentive and courteous. When my car battery died, they noticed and helped me outside of office hours. I was very touched. I hope to visit again next time I'm in Okinawa."

"My stay at Yawn Yard Kouri Island (Sea) was overall very pleasant. Each villa features a private swimming pool and an outdoor soaking tub, offering a serene and luxurious retreat. The in-room dining service was especially ideal for families with infants—like ours, with a 3-month-old baby boy. It allowed us to enjoy meals without worrying about sudden crying episodes disturbing other guests, as might happen in a public restaurant setting. The dinner provided through in-room dining was exceptionally delicious and thoughtfully prepared. We truly enjoyed both breakfast and dinner in the villa’s outdoor courtyard, where we could take in stunning ocean views, sunsets, and even rainbows—a truly magical experience. The bed was incredibly comfortable, adding to the overall sense of relaxation and making our stay even more memorable. That said, it’s worth noting that the villa’s design leans toward an eco-lodge style. The bathroom is located at the rear of the house, requiring guests to walk through the outdoor courtyard each time they need to use it. This can be less convenient in the evening, especially when insects like spiders are more active. For this reason, the accommodation may not suit everyone."

"Very beautiful B&B. There is no problem if you drive by yourself, but you have to drive slowly at night because there are no street lights, because the road is quite wide. The room is exactly like the photo and very beautiful, and it is really comfortable when the weather is good. A morning bath is truly perfect."

(3300 Yen 2L) The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious. One of our air conditioners broke down, and they provided an industrial fan, which was sufficient overall. They also compensated us with complimentary canned beer. The hotel is only a 1-minute drive from the Ocean Tower. We heard there are restaurants nearby, but they all close early. We opted for dinner at the hotel, which offered yakiniku/sukiyaki or pork hot pot. The prices were quite high, but not unacceptable. The room has three double beds and enough kitchenware to cook your own meals. The bathroom has a separate shower and toilet area and a nice bathtub."

"The apartment is beautiful. However the checkout time is too early at 10:00 am compared to other hotels in Japan in general. The utensils are sufficient for cooking. One thing that’s most unsatisfying is there’s a lot of cockroaches and mosquitos during the night. Even there’s a net and it cannot prevent some of them coming in, some can even fly! Horrible. The price is too high for this standard to be honest."

"Everything was amazing for Valentine’s Day! This is perfect for a couple going away from everything and everyone! From the second we parked our car and getting our bags taken upstairs to the last pictures taken by the host! Wagyu burger spot like 2 minutes away walking and heart rock like 5 min or less walking. It was so peaceful waking up to the sunrise and beautiful view!"
