The hotel accepts foreigners (as of September 2025). The location is quite remote from the center, but very close to Quanzhou station, which was fine for me, but do be aware that it's basically in a village of sorts, so the dining and shopping options are limited. (A note on finding the hotel: if you check on a map app, it will tell you to do a long detour, which is unnecessary. When you get out of the station, go left towards "Bus pick-up" and eventually you will have a path on your right - pictured - near various bus stops, and there is a small side path at the end of it with a sign mentioning the homestay area, so just take the path and then the tunnel and you should arrive at the relevant area). The room was good, with all the necessary amenities in good condition. The family was nice, you can keep your bag for free. Overall, good value for money, especially if you don't insist on living in the center.

Well, Quanzhou Station is quite remote, and there was road construction going on around it. This guesthouse is located in a village. My itinerary suddenly changed, so I randomly picked a guesthouse near the train station. I didn't expect such a great experience! Just like the photos, the room was very clean and spacious, and the bed was soft and comfortable. For just over 100 yuan, it was totally worth it! The people at the guesthouse were incredibly welcoming. As a girl traveling alone, I'd been ripped off by unlicensed taxi drivers and harassed by salespeople along the way. I arrived at the guesthouse quite late, starving, and the owner even peeled an orange for me. It was so heartwarming! Unfortunately, I had to leave the next morning.
