Mercure Nanchang Tengwang Pavilion Reviews

Stayed here in end Oct. Ji Hotel entrance is just beside Mercure Hotel entrance, so don’t enter the wrong one. Comfortable bed with double pillows and the only hotel (out of 5 we stayed in this trip) that provided fridge and free mini bar in the room. Good breakfast spread and quality with local specialities like jar soup and noodles. However, the air conditioning in the room wasn’t working properly, so the room was warm and stuffy. When we called the reception about it, we were given a silly excuse and a standing fan which was dusty and not standing straight. Not only did they not bother to wipe the dust off the fan before letting us use it, the staff who brought the fan to our room was impolite and left the fan at the door expecting us to move the dusty fan into the room ourselves. This is not the service standard we expect from Mercure. They gave us 2 packs of local noodles as gifts to make up for the unpleasant experience when we complained about it during check out

I recently stayed 3d2n at this hotel located in a very convenient area, making it easy to explore the surroundings. The staffs are incredibly friendly and welcoming. The room i stayed is spacious and good view to TengWang Pavilion and lake.

We used the hotel for a quick stopover. Location is brilliant, right across the road from Teng Pavillon and only a quick Taxi ride to the major sights. The staff was very helpful and nice. The breakfast was awesome, also considering the relatively low price. There were salad, fruits, bread, cold cuts, cheese, chinese dishes, variety of eggs, noodles typical steamed items etc. so both Chinese and Western selections. The rooms are not new, but were absolutely clean (no carpet in the room), everything worked properly and it suits the price - considering the hotel location it is a very good deal.

Tengwang pavillion a superb vista right in the front of you. What a view

The hotel needs upgrades and remodeling. House keeping is not up to standard with dusty cupboard and hangers. Towels are not totally clean. Breakfast is limited choices.

The building's old interior is very not so bright. Window quite dirty. Never take photo .

Great location by the river, with nice views, and right next to Tengwang Pavilion. Room was spacious and clean, with the expected basic amenities, but seemed to be some issues with soundproofing as there was constant banging from floor above. Service at front desk quite slow and not particularly friendly. Overall, good choice for a citybreak or business trip to Nanchang, would recommend.

Not bad for a few nights, staff doesn’t speak English. I wrote the note about baby crib, but it was not provided. The room itself new and clean, very big bed. Breakfast mainly Chinese but there are euro options as well

Facilities: All the facilities of the new hotel are of good quality, low-key, practical and luxurious. It's just that there is a little water seepage at the joint of the shower head in my room, which does not affect the use, but I still hope that there will be inspections to check the integrity of the hotel equipment, so as not to affect the quality of this Mercure. Hygiene: The hygiene is very clean, especially the bedding, bath towels and towels are very clean and hygienic, the toiletries are great, the bed is very comfortable to sleep, and the room is considered large in Nanchang. Location: It is simply the center of Nanchang, the best location for tourism, behind is the entrance to Tengwang Pavilion, and it is just a few steps away. The room faces the Ganjiang River and the twin towers and Ferris wheel opposite. Downstairs is the Tengwang Pavilion along the river scenic area with the best night view, which is invincible during the day and at night. It is not far from the Wanshou Palace and Dashiyuan, which is very convenient and has convenient transportation. Environment: The whole hotel is light luxury, clean and tidy, with a small gym and a 24-hour self-service laundry room. Although the restaurant on the first floor is not big, it has a rich variety, especially the local characteristics of clay pot soup and Nanchang mixed noodles, which are also very authentic. Service: The quality of Mercure Hotel is beyond reproach, and the service is even better. This deserves a big thumbs up. The hotel is considerate when checking in, and patiently helps to solve and provide convenience for some of the requests raised. It is warm and thoughtful, and is a rare benchmark in the service industry! I would like to specially thank Mr. Huang at the front desk for his patient, enthusiastic and high-quality service!
