Atour Hotel on Wutong Avenue, Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum Scenic Area, Nanjing

Pros: Great location. Cons: 1. At 7 PM, there was only one front desk staff member, who was on the phone during check-in. I expected at least a quick 'sorry for the wait.' 2. The air conditioning made a strange noise (see GIF). 3. The hot water was inconsistent, sometimes warm, sometimes scalding. 4. My clothes came out of the laundry with new black spots. 5. There's only one elevator, leading to long wait times. Summary: For 500 a night, this is a rip-off. Atour is really showing its age. Looks like even hotels are ending up selling stuff via live streams now.

The biggest advantage is its proximity to Gate 3 of the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, making parking convenient for those driving. Parking at the hotel is easy, and it's also convenient to walk, take a taxi, or use the subway. The Liu Changxing restaurant across the street is quite delicious.

I was very satisfied with the room, the breakfast was plentiful, the front desk service was very welcoming, and getting around was very convenient.

The service was good, and the location was convenient. However, the room cleanliness was just average. There was a strong smell as soon as I entered, and the sink and hand soap were dirty. But the staff were very helpful.

The environment was comfortable and the service was excellent. I would come again.
