Hilton Nanjing Riverside

During the National Day holiday, I stayed at the Hilton Nanjing Riverside, which is close to the river. The sparkling water views were lovely, and the service was excellent. All the staff were very enthusiastic. It was a great experience, highly recommend!

The overall service and environment were quite good, and the transportation was convenient. However, the hotel is a bit old, and the facilities are showing their age. They do have river view rooms, and the value for money is decent.

The hotel environment is elegant, the lobby is clean and grand, and the room has great natural light with a full set of toiletries. The breakfast had a rich variety and tasted good. The staff were attentive and handled details well. It's suitable for both business trips and vacations. Highly recommended!

I came to Nanjing from Beijing to escape pollen, but I didn't expect the pollen allergy to be so severe here too. My stay at Hilton Nanjing Riverside was delightful and perfect. The environment is serene and great for photos. The river view is infinitely beautiful, even though there weren't many boats passing by. The room was cozy and comfortable, though the internet speed was slow. The bedding was skin-friendly, and the toiletries were from high-end brands. The service deserves praise – warmly soliciting guest satisfaction made me feel truly valued, like a home away from home. The breakfast quality was high.

Facilities: The hotel is a bit old but very clean and fresh. Environment: The view outside the room is excellent. Hygiene: Very good. Service: I had originally booked for two days, but then something came up and I decided to check out early. The hotel helped me check out very smoothly. I came back a bit later to pack my things, it was perfect.

The room was clean, but the AC was a bit noisy. Service was unremarkable, neither good nor bad. The balcony view was nice, but the soundproofing was terrible; I could clearly hear people running around and talking next door, which made it hard to sleep well. The location is a bit far from the city center, and there's not much to see or do nearby.

For such a large hotel, the arrival plaza doesn't even have temporary parking spots. A security guard was rudely shouting at and shooing away cars dropping off guests, which really lowers the standard of a Hilton. As you can see in the picture, it's full of electric scooters. You can't even temporarily stop to pick someone up, whether it's a ride-sharing service or a friend coming to get you. Waiting is such a hassle, you can't even get out of the car. The experience is really poor. I suggest opening up the parking area.

The river view room offers stunning scenery, perfect for watching the sunrise and sunset over Nanjing's riverside. The service was excellent and breakfast was delicious. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit older, but overall, it was a great stay.

If there wasn't a river view, the hotel would be a 6, but with it, it's a 9.5. Drawbacks: The facilities are a bit old. Pros: The service is great, though new staff could use a bit more training. Cons: Getting a taxi at night is difficult, and there's no public transport (buses/subway) nearby. The surroundings are very quiet.
