Nanjing Zhongshan Hotel (Jiangsu Conference Center)

This hotel serves as the reception for Jiangsu Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government, primarily accommodating official meetings. As such, the environment, service standards, facilities, and in-room amenities are all of excellent quality. The breakfast, in particular, is outstanding; it's all prepared in-house and offers a wide variety of Chinese and Western options, including fruit, milk, and cereal. The hotel has a rich history, and the other Republic of China era buildings within its compound are nationally protected heritage sites.

For years, Zhongshan Hotel has been my top choice when staying in Nanjing! Its location is truly unique, offering a tranquil escape despite being in a bustling area. They boast an incredibly spacious parking lot, and within the grounds, traditional Chinese gardens beautifully complement the historic Republic of China-era architecture. The rooms are elegantly furnished, and the bedding is absolutely top-notch! The modern bathroom features high-quality toiletries with a sophisticated fragrance, a smart toilet, a heated towel rack, central air conditioning, an air purifier, and high-speed WiFi… In short, it’s the perfect place to stay! A special thanks to Manager Liu Ying for her professional and thoughtful service, the bellhop Huang Feifan for his meticulous attention, and the heartwarming and thorough service from housekeeping staff Xiao Wei and Xiao Zhang. I am extremely satisfied! Also, a shout-out to the anonymous phone operator for her pleasant voice and for fully and carefully relaying my requests to housekeeping! Thank you to the management team of Zhongshan Hotel for cultivating such an excellent staff! It truly lives up to its reputation as a flagship hotel in Nanjing! Thank you!

I booked a two-night stay at this hotel despite the mixed reviews, and I'm glad I did! Firstly, there was no exaggerated price hike during the Qingming Festival. Secondly, the front desk staff were incredibly friendly and efficiently handled all guest requests. Thirdly, the hotel houses the historic 'Lizhi Society' building, which served as a tribunal for Japanese war criminals (making it a meaningful extension to a visit to the Memorial Hall of the Victims in Nanjing Massacre by Japanese Invaders). Fourthly, the bed was very comfortable. Lastly, while dining options aren't super close (about a 9-minute walk to the subway), which can be a bit of a drag after a day out exploring, we thankfully found a local gem called 'A'Gu's Pub' nearby (my friend scouted it out and noticed many locals eating there). The food was indeed excellent, instantly making up for the minor inconvenience of the location!

This holiday trip, Zhongshan Hotel's facilities, as a conference center, were truly exceptional. The staff also helped us with extending our stay, so we didn't have to switch rooms, which was great. The twin beds were very family-friendly, especially for those traveling with kids. Nanjing is a very pleasant city, and the hotel is close to the museum and quite convenient for visiting the Zhongshan Scenic Area. Highly recommended.

This hotel has a historic feel to it. Although the decor is a bit old, it's well-maintained and the overall experience was great. It's located in the same spot as the 'Lizhi Society', which makes it very quiet. The staff were all excellent, attentive, and thoughtful. It's close to the subway, making transportation convenient. Attractions like Ming Palace and Nanjing Museum are within walking distance.

This is an established, decent hotel. Everything was good except for the slightly cramped bathroom. The grand leader Chairman Mao's poem, displayed prominently in the center of the lobby, commemorates the heroic feat of a million brave soldiers crossing the Yangtze River to liberate all of China. The Presidential Palace, founded by Sun Yat-sen, is also nearby and can be visited by purchasing tickets and making a reservation.

The location is excellent, the service is great, and it's close to the subway entrance. It's definitely my first choice hotel when driving to Nanjing. The hotel is grand, well-equipped, and the staff are professional. Plus, they have robots that deliver takeout to your room!
