Nanjing Qixia Mountain Hentique Qiyun Resort

When checking in, I requested a higher floor with a mountain view. The front desk informed me that twin rooms were only available on the 2nd floor, so I had to switch to a king room. They kindly upgraded me, but the room faced other buildings! A young staff member patiently showed me a few rooms until we finally found one with a view of the mountains and trees. However, it was close to the main road and a bit noisy from traffic, so we just had to settle for it. The hotel is quite large with a nice garden layout, nestled at the foot of Qixia Mountain. The air was filled with the scent of osmanthus trees everywhere—truly a place of birdsong and fragrant flowers—and the breakfast featured local specialties. However, it feels more like a guesthouse than a proper hotel? I noticed quite a few facilities looked worn and in disrepair, there were a lot of bugs in the room, and the cleaning and restaurant staff acted more like friendly rural aunties next door rather than well-trained professionals.

We were upgraded to a villa in the Zen meditation zone. While it was certainly spacious, it was on the ground floor. Despite the large floor-to-ceiling windows, the view was completely blocked by a wall, leaving us with none of the lush green mountain scenery we had hoped for. Other than that, the facilities were good, and the toiletries in particular felt thoughtfully chosen. However, the flooring seemed damaged with cuts and grooves, which could be a tripping hazard. The VIP access to Qixia Mountain was fantastic, and the scenery was well worth it.

During the National Day holiday, despite the shortage of rooms, they managed to reassign me to a quieter and more spacious room. The service was prompt and attentive; they provided travel tips and excellent food recommendations. The vegetarian noodles at the hotel were truly delicious. The VIP shuttle to the mountain was also quite convenient. This hotel is perfect for tourists visiting Qixia Mountain.

Right at the foot of Qixia Mountain, the environment is quiet and exceptionally comfortable. The room is clean and bright, and the bed is soft. There are plenty of breakfast options, and the duck blood vermicelli soup as well as the Jinling pastries taste quite authentic. Guests can take a direct pathway up the mountain, making it a truly perfect getaway.

I chose this hotel for a friend's birthday party and a trip to Qixia Mountain. Tucked away in the mountains, I instantly felt at peace upon entering. The front desk uniforms were unique, and the Heart Sutra backdrop wall created a wonderful ambiance. The staff thoughtfully escorted me to my room. The housekeeping auntie was very responsive, and an extra dental kit was delivered quickly. There were small fish in the pond in the courtyard, the environment was elegant, and the room was clean. Overall, a perfect experience!

The hotel overall was excellent! The front desk staff were very nice; after checking in, they guided us to our room. Even though we could only go up the mountain once, the front desk also informed us about the free time slots for the mountain, which was very helpful and patient! The breakfast was also quite to our liking!

Five-star review! The location is a bit far from the city center, but once inside the hotel, I found the environment and atmosphere to be quite pleasant. It immediately felt peaceful. The front desk lady was very efficient with check-in, and her service was prompt and excellent. The room facilities were in good condition, and the bedding was quite comfortable, so I slept really well. The hotel also has a VIP hiking trail directly to Qixia Mountain Scenic Area, which is very convenient; hiking early in the morning is a great option. The front desk lady also helped me book an incense ceremony experience. The space for calligraphy and meditation was beautifully arranged, and the teacher was very meticulous in their instruction. It's suitable for both a relaxing break and a short trip, highly recommended!

Qiyun Mountain House has a really nice, peaceful environment, and the air in the mountains is great. The breakfast selection is quite rich, and the taste is genuine, not just some perfunctory simple meal. Walking in the garden, you'll occasionally run into cats. The staff said they were stray cats, but guests and staff alike feed them, and over time, they've made the hotel their home. The staff here are also very welcoming and responsive to requests, providing thoughtful service. Overall, it was a comfortable stay. If you're looking to escape the city hustle and relax, you should definitely give this place a try.

Having done business in Nanjing for many years, I've never really had the chance to explore the city properly. This time, my relatives were visiting, so we chose to stay near Qixia Mountain. Guests here get free VIP access straight to Qixia Mountain, which is incredibly convenient. This hotel is quite different from your average hotel; the staff are genuinely warm and friendly. The lobby has sutras, and the courtyard features a Ruyi gate. The moment you step in, you feel like you can set aside your daily hustle and bustle and just relax. I'm quite particular about cleanliness, and the guest rooms here are immaculately clean, with warm, natural wood tones throughout. It was an exceptionally comfortable stay, and I genuinely recommend it!
