Reviews of Nanjing Tangshan Hentique Spring Valley Hotel

Room: We booked a private hot spring suite. The room was spacious with an outdoor private hot spring pool and a large indoor bathtub. The overall warm tone made for great photos, and the cleanliness was good. The private pool had a step, so it wasn't very deep. While the pool itself was clean, the tiles at the bottom looked a bit old. There was also a large balcony in the room, which wasn't noisy at night. The duvet was very comfortable and breathable (unlike some hotels where the duvets can feel stuffy). I had also noted that it was for my husband's birthday, so the hotel did some simple decorations in the room. Public Hot Spring: The entire process (changing, soaking, showering) was pretty good. There weren't many pools, maybe three or four unique ones. Luckily, it wasn't too crowded this weekend, so the overall comfort level was good. Afternoon Tea: This was included with the suite. It was decent, nothing special but perfectly fine. Breakfast: The taste was generally good, but there's room for improvement. They could enhance the variety and quantity of some dishes. Hotel Surroundings: It's quiet with few people around, and it's very convenient for ordering takeout.

The hotel exceeded our expectations! The front desk staff was incredibly attentive, and the hotel itself was clean, tidy, and hygienic, with excellent facilities. We originally planned to go to Tangshan No. 1 Resort for hot springs, but the hotel's own hot springs were so good that we ended up spending the whole day there with the kids, without even leaving the premises. We had a fantastic time! If we get another chance, we'll definitely stay for a few more days next time. 😊

Really good, the room was very clean. I specifically went there this time to enjoy the hot springs, and the breakfast was also very generous. I'd definitely consider staying again! The concierge service was also very thoughtful and excellent!

This is my second time visiting Hantian Yue, and winter truly is the perfect season for hot springs. The kids' play area inside is quite spacious, great for burning off energy for children of all ages, even babies can crawl around there. The breakfast is still very generous, and you can access the hot springs until 12 PM on the second day. The service attitude is excellent, and they even help deliver luggage to your room.

This was my second stay, but checking in this time was a bit awkward. The front desk couldn't find my reservation, and while they said it was booked through a third-party platform, I've genuinely never encountered a situation where my booking couldn't be found before. Breakfast was just okay. It's right next to Jinwu Park, which is great for kids.

Hotel was perfect, especially the hot springs. Staff helped us a lot!

Staffs at the hotel are super kind. very nice clean hotel with available hot spring and swimming pool. hot spring is not one of the best but enjoyable however some people smoked while they are in the hot spring. very bad. swimming pool with kids provide nice experience. recommend.

A spacious 30-square-meter terrace offered direct views of the distant Yangshan Stele. As the morning sun bathed the treated wooden deck, a small, steaming hot spring plunge pool in the corner was already filled, with a few rose petals gently floating on its surface. The air carried a faint hint of sulfur, beautifully blended with the refreshing scent of plants and wood. Inside, the room seamlessly continued the minimalist aesthetic of the building's exterior, featuring natural wood furniture and crisp linen bedding. A hand-painted map of the Tangshan hot springs hung above the bed. Thoughtful touches, such as seasonal osmanthus honey and local 'Lao E Su' (old goose pastry), were carefully placed, truly demonstrating meticulous attention to every detail.

The environment was excellent. Both the front desk staff and the housekeepers were incredibly kind and always greeted us warmly whenever we passed by. Every evening, they delivered eye masks, earplugs, and milk to our room. They were also super thoughtful, even helping us take our cold takeout down to reheat it! The hotel offers a variety of specialty pillows (buckwheat, latex, lavender) to choose from, though we didn't use them. The hot spring is conveniently located right next door, just a one-minute walk from the hotel exit, and it was wonderfully relaxing. We also visited the swimming pool; the water was very clean, it wasn't crowded, and the main pool was quite spacious. There's even a smaller, warmer pool next to it, perfect for a quick warm-up if you get chilly. Overall, it was a fantastic experience! We'll definitely be back!

To sum it up, this is absolutely the best family-friendly resort in Nanjing. Even though it's a hot spring hotel, it's top-tier no matter the season – summer or winter. Facilities: 1. A super-sized children's playground, fully equipped with a ball pit, slides, building blocks, and even simulated sand. 2. An indoor heated swimming pool PLUS a children's hot pool with a ball pit. This kind of setup is rare even in typical five-star hotels, which usually only boast a single heated pool at best. 3. A three-story building dedicated to hot spring pools, featuring both indoor and outdoor options. There's even an even larger children's hot spring pool with a ball pit inside – I've never seen anything like it anywhere else, haha. My son spent the first afternoon at the children's playground and the swimming pool, then went to the hot springs in the evening and stayed until past 8 PM. The next day, he started with a craft activity, then went back to the children's playground, hot springs, and pool, experiencing everything again. He had an absolute blast! Service: Let me rave about the service again; it was unbelievably good. During my stay, I asked the butler for pillows, blankets, water, band-aids, sanitary pads, etc., and they were all delivered within two minutes. They even went out of their way to help me get a sugar-free Coke in the middle of the night when I didn't want to order takeout separately. The service here is definitely the absolute best among hotels in Nanjing. This is absolutely a hotel I'd revisit. We'll definitely come back in winter, haha!

The hotel's attention to detail was outstanding. The children's play area (淘气堡), in particular, was spotlessly clean and exceptionally well-managed, with staff quick to intervene if any unsafe behavior arose. The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, and truly, all the staff members were exceptionally thoughtful and went above and beyond for guests. We didn't encounter anything uncomfortable throughout our stay, and our kids absolutely loved their two days here!

We checked in the day before my child's school started, and it wasn't too crowded. Hantian is a brand I truly trust; I've stayed at many of their properties, and each one has left a consistently excellent impression, particularly due to their outstanding service – always warm, thoughtful, and incredibly accommodating. This Hantian in Tangshan offers great value for money, making it perfect for a short weekend trip where you can enjoy the hot springs and explore several small attractions nearby. We'll likely return once the weather cools down. However, there's one minor point I'd like to mention: I wasn't very satisfied with the food at the hotel restaurant. The dishes included in the group-buying set menu felt more like pre-cooked meals, and the portions were quite small. In contrast, the à la carte dishes we ordered separately were completely different – generous in size and bursting with that authentic wok-fried flavor. I hope this can be improved.

Before we even checked in, a thoughtful staff member proactively sent us directions and parking information. The room was already pre-cooled and felt incredibly welcoming upon arrival. We were also delighted to find welcome fruits, drinks, milk, and eye masks, and thoughtfully, a small gift was included for Qixi Festival. The hotel boasts a beautiful garden-style design, with the central garden's lush greenery and landscaping being particularly stunning. The breakfast spread was quite extensive, and as a pleasant parting gesture, we even received complimentary bottled water upon check-out.

A truly excellent hotel! I'm already planning to return, and next time I'll bring my mom. Both the service and the ambiance were superb. Our dedicated butler communicated with us proactively and was attentive throughout our entire stay. The room was quiet, and thoughtful amenities like fresh fruit, sleep-inducing milk, and an eye mask were provided. Compared to other hotels we stayed at later, this one truly stood out. The hot springs here were incredibly relaxing.
