Non smoking room also become smoking room. But in china this is what to be expected. Rules not really strictly enforced but location is great.

I booked for 5 nights. When I checked in, they gave me a room that looked completely different from the images. It was very dark and small. Also, the carpet was dirty and had hair on it. After two nights, I checked my booking again and noticed the huge difference. I went to the reception and showed them the photos. They then changed the room. The room I got then was exactly the type I booked. Please take a look at the photos I uploaded here, you will see the enormous difference! I find it extremely inappropriate to give me this TERRIBLE room when I book for 5 (!) nights. They seriously gave me the worst room of the entire hotel and didn’t care at all. Check the photos and judge by yourself! Positive things: the location is great, directly in the city center.

The procedure is quite slow when Check-in. It takes around 30mins....too long Others are very good.

This hotel is located at Xinjiekou Exit 14 at the city center. Nice and friendly staffs. Clean room. Delicious breakfast.

The view was fantastic. The room was small but practical. They did not have on-site laundry, which was not helpful since my group is moving from city to city.

Not as close to the subway as you think due to the size of the subway station and the number of exits which it has.

It is in a great location with lots of department stores, shops, street foods. Breakfast buffet is with many choices but not changing the menu much. I don’t like the internet, it required either local phone number (so they can send code) or login Suning account, although it’s Novotel hotel but it’s part of Suning group. I had to ask front desk to help every time. I think it’s not friendly for overseas visitors.

The hotel is in good location; shopping mall, restaurant s and metro nearby.

The location is great. Lots of restaurant around the area and the hotel is relatively close to the tourist spots.

No view hotel . View is blocked by another office building . Counter service is so so only.

The location of the hotel is good near department store, restaurants. The room is big enough but a bit old. Breakfast is so so. Check in and service is good. You need to wait untill 2 p.m. to check in. The water is only two bottle per room.
